The Rubbish Removers provide environmentally conscious, ethical waste disposal solutions to all our customers.
We are always on the lookout for new and creative ways to dispose of the waste we collect. While it is important to stay within the requirements of our licence, this does not stipulate how much rubbish should be recycled. In theory, we could dispose of 100% of the waste we collect at landfill sites and still be operating legally. Of course, we have a moral obligation to do better than that.
Never have we been more educated and understanding of the impact humans have on the Earth. Profitability and convenience are the driving factors in a capitalist world. However, people and businesses are beginning to understand how important it is to hold ourselves accountable for our impact on a global scale. More and more large and small businesses are becoming carbon neutral and even negative in some cases.
We dispose of the bulk of what we collect at an industry-leading waste transfer station which diverts upwards of 95% from landfill. Additionally, where possible we donate items of furniture to charity shops.
As we grow, our focus remains to provide professional and ethical waste disposal solutions to all our customers. We are confident you will not receive a higher level of service anywhere and we are consistently pushing expectations higher.

The Rubbish Removers offer a professional and ethical recycling solution to commercial and domestic customers alike.
Whilst we are obligated to operate within the parameters of our licence, we are always on the lookout for new solutions. Actively reducing how much of the waste we collect ends up in landfill.
Surprisingly in today’s world, the requirements of a waste carrier do not give any incentive to dispose of their waste ethically. In layman’s terms, We must dispose of waste of at a licensed transfer station (tip). However, there is no financial benefit to a rubbish remover to establish an ethical recycling programme.
Transfer station waste to landfill rates vary massively throughout the market. For instance, in the 12 months leading up to March 2020, recycling rates of Public transfer stations were at 45%. This means 55% of all the waste collected ended up in landfill.
Leading the industry..
At The Rubbish Removers, we take great pride in operating professionally, legally and responsibly. Additionally, we seek out private tipping facilities who offer much higher recycling rates. In the same 12 month period, our most used transfer station diverted 94% from landfill. That means only 6% of the waste we collect ends up in landfill.
This ethical and responsible approach has seen us build relationships with high profile customers. Supermarket chains, local authorities, international recycling firms, fast food establishments, city-centre bars and restaurants, high street retailers and hotels all choose The Rubbish Removers. Furthermore, all our customers can have confidence that their waste will be disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way possible.

Office clearances are increasing, and we continue to see more each month. Now the pandemic has changed how many of us live and work. As companies looked for new ways to stay open, millions of UK workers began working from home.
As a result for some staff, this new setup works well. However, for many businesses, it has also reduced costs for rent, energy, and maintenance. As a result, many companies have chosen to close their offices. Therefore, they now need to clear out unwanted furniture, equipment, and rubbish.
Office clearances have become a necessary step for businesses adapting to these changes.

We have seen this change first hand as we have cleared many office premises already. Hence these jobs have ranged from small offices to large companies spread over several floors. Furthermore, we now receive new office clearance enquiries every day.
We hold a full waste carrier licence (CB/DU179358). We also follow strict safety rules for both our staff and yours. This helps us keep everyone safe while we continue to support you and your business during these challenging times.
Unfortunately, at present, we cannot donate furniture due to Covid. However, I would like to express that it is all taken to a fully licensed waste transfer station where it is fully recycled.

We had a very short timeframe to vacate our office and with Christmas holidays and a pandemic to deal with it could have been a real nightmare. However from the first contact with Diane in the Rubbish Removers office through to the last item being taken was slick, efficient and totally professional. Richard and the team who came (Mike, Tom and James) were absolutely excellent.
They were friendly, fast and totally none intrusive to have around. We still had a skeleton operational staff on site and the lads just cracked on around us. They even swept up the floors at the end of each day!
Even our changing list of waste that needed removing didn’t phase them.
I should also flag that they aim to recycle as much as possible, our wooden desktops were going to be reused as animal bedding or fuel for wood burners – which is just fantastic.
Couldn’t recommend them more highly. Thank you all for making what could have been a very stressful job a lot easier.
