What thoughts spin around in your mind when faced sudden house clearances? Anxiety, stress, embarrassment, grief, elation, sadness, anger. These are just a few of what people are faced with due to the circumstances they might suddenly find themselves in.
Bereavement: –This can be a sudden loss or a long awaited one but on either of these occasions you could be left with the whole house to clear as it needs to be sold or passed back to the housing agency. On some occasions you may not be able to face going back into the property or even live nearby.
Divorce:–This may result in you having to sell the property and possibly downsizing or you are left with the belongings of a spouse who no longer wants them or is willing to dispose of them themselves.
Landlords:– You may have had to evict a tenant or they have abandoned the property without your knowledge and you are now left with a house to clear before you re-let it. Or you are a company dealing with students and now have to clear many apartments in one go.
Solicitors:–You may be dealing with a property where probate is involved but it has to be cleared ready for sale to raise funds.
Homeowners:–On many occasions this can be someone moving abroad, simply downsizing or know a member of the family who has either sadly had to go into a care home or suffering from depression and got themselves into a bit of a quandary.
Estate Agents: – You may have been contracted to sell a house that is still furnished or been faced with a fly tipping incident.
