Office Clearances On The Increase

Office clearances are increasing, and we continue to see more each month. Now the pandemic has changed how many of us live and work. As companies looked for new ways to stay open, millions of UK workers began working from home.

As a result for some staff, this new setup works well. However, for many businesses, it has also reduced costs for rent, energy, and maintenance. As a result, many companies have chosen to close their offices. Therefore, they now need to clear out unwanted furniture, equipment, and rubbish.

We have seen this change first hand as we have cleared many office premises already. Hence these jobs have ranged from small offices to large companies spread over several floors. Furthermore, we now receive new office clearance enquiries every day.

We hold a full waste carrier licence (CB/DU179358). We also follow strict safety rules for both our staff and yours. This helps us keep everyone safe while we continue to support you and your business during these challenging times.

Unfortunately, at present, we cannot donate furniture due to Covid. However, I would like to express that it is all taken to a fully licensed waste transfer station where it is fully recycled.

Some examples of wood are animal bedding, mulches, panel boarding and biomass fuel.

We had a very short timeframe to vacate our office and with Christmas holidays and a pandemic to deal with it could have been a real nightmare.
However from the first contact with Diane in the Rubbish Removers office through to the last item being taken was slick, efficient and totally professional. Richard and the team who came (Mike, Tom and James) were absolutely excellent.

They were friendly, fast and totally none intrusive to have around. We still had a skeleton operational staff on site and the lads just cracked on around us. They even swept up the floors at the end of each day!

Even our changing list of waste that needed removing didn’t phase them.

I should also flag that they aim to recycle as much as possible, our wooden desktops were going to be reused as animal bedding or fuel for wood burners – which is just fantastic.

Couldn’t recommend them more highly. Thank you all for making what could have been a very stressful job a lot easier.
