What We Take
- Memory foam and also orthopaedic mattresses.
- King size, super king as well as double mattresses.
- Divan bases and wooden bed frames.
- Headboards and also bedside furniture.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- Single Item: Prices start from £80+VAT. Ideal for a standalone bulky item like a king size mattress or a heavy fridge.
- Quarter Van Load: Equivalent to 20 to 30 bin bags. Great for clearing out a box room, including a single bed, mattress and some old bedroom furniture.
- Half Van Load: Roughly 50 to 60 bin bags. This is perfect for a large master bedroom clear out, taking the mattress, bed frame, wardrobes and chest of drawers.
- Full Van Load: A large capacity equivalent to two standard skips. This is suitable for full West Yorkshire house clearances where multiple beds and mattresses need removing.
You only pay for the space you fill, unlike a skip where you pay for fresh air.

Typical Jobs in West Yorkshire
- Student End of Tenancy in Headingley: We cleared five old mattresses from a West Yorkshire HMO property, using our Wait and Load service to avoid the hassle of road permits on busy streets.
- Bedroom Clearance in Bradford: We removed a heavy memory foam mattress and a solid oak bed frame from a steep back to back stone terrace, navigating tight stairs safely without marking the walls.
- Loft Clearance in Hebden Bridge: We cleared an old mattress and stored furniture from a tall stone terrace, bypassing the narrow pedestrian access issues that make traditional skip hire impossible here.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
A: No, you do not need to lift a finger. Our two man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, basements or West Yorkshire high rise apartments, doing all the heavy lifting safely.
Q: Do you take large or awkward items like super king memory foam mattresses?
A: Yes, we certainly do. We have the vehicles as well as the manual handling training to manage large, heavy and awkward items with ease.
Q: Is your disposal legal?
A: Yes, absolutely. We are a fully licensed waste carrier, licence CBDU409710. We also provide a proper Duty of Care Waste Transfer Note for every job, ensuring legal recycling.
Q: Do West Yorkshire councils collect from inside my house?
A: No, local councils strictly operate a pavement only collection. This is incredibly difficult for residents living in West Yorkshire’s steep stone terraces or high density housing where leaving items outside attracts fly tipping.
Q: I live on a narrow street in West Yorkshire, can you still help?
A: Yes we can. We know that parking in areas like Headingley or Hebden Bridge can be very tight. Our vans operate a Wait and Load system, which is far more mobile than large skip lorries.
Q: Can I take my own mattress to the local tip?
A: You can, but you need to be careful. Local tips like Bowling Back Lane or Kirkstall require booking in advance and if you borrow a van to move a heavy mattress, you often run into strict permit restrictions.
