I have used Rubbish Removers 3 times now and they have always been professional and efficient. Darren was involved in the last job. We will use them again whenever we need rubbish removed. They lifted the old bedroom carpet without any mess and took it away.

High praise to this company. They rang 40 mins prior to arrival to say they were on their way. Demolished and cleared away our greenhouse within an hour. The weather was freezing . Highly recommended

Excellent service from Rubbish Removals. Arrived on time and considering they had a fair length down a long path to reach their truck, they removed quite a lot of kitchen appliances and a piece of furniture in next to no time. Would definitely recommend. Good price too, cheaper than local Council.

Washing machines and tumble dryers.
Fridges, freezers, and large American style fridge freezers.
Ovens, cookers, and extractor fans.
Dishwashers and microwaves.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- Single Item: Prices start from £80+vat. Therefore ideal for a standalone bulky item like a fridge, washing machine, or cooker.
- Quarter Van Load: Roughly 20 to 30 bin bags or 2 to 3 cubic yards. Also perfect for multiple kitchen appliances during a minor refit.
- Half Van Load: Roughly 6 cubic yards. So comparable capacity to a standard builders skip. Ideal for clearing out a full kitchen strip-out including all white goods.
- Full Van Load: 12 to 14 cubic yards. A large capacity also equivalent to roughly two standard skips. Suitable for commercial appliance removal or full property clearances.
You also only pay for the space you fill, unlike a skip where you pay for fresh air. So get a firm price by sending a photo of your appliances to 07802 860 731.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor? A: No, you do not. Our trained two-man team collects from upstairs apartments or basements, doing all the heavy lifting safely for you.
Q: Is your disposal legal? A: Yes, absolutely. We are an Environment Agency Registered carrier under licence CBDU409710 and issue a proper Waste Transfer Note every time. All items go to licensed transfer stations for legal recycling.
Q: Can I take my own fridge to the local tip? A: You can, but Wakefield Council requires tip permits for vans. If you borrow a vehicle to move a heavy appliance, you risk being turned away without the correct paperwork.
Q: Does Wakefield Council collect from inside my house? A: No, they do not. The council operates a strict pavement only policy. This is extremely difficult for residents living in traditional red brick terraces or colliery rows who cannot physically lift a washing machine outside.
