Why Choose Us for Man & Van Junk Collection in Macclesfield?
We Collect From Inside
We collect from inside your home, unlike the kerbside-only rules of Cheshire East Council. Our uniformed teams come directly into your lounge, kitchen or bedroom, so you never need to move heavy items outside.
Protection & Care
We take great care when working in the tight doorways of historic Macclesfield silk cottages. Using specialist protection, we safeguard your floors, walls and also doorways while removing awkward items safely.
Speed
In terms of speed, if you contact us early, we can often provide a same-day emergency response. This is especially useful if your new high-end furniture from Arighi Bianchi is arriving and you need the old items removed quickly.
All Styles Taken
Finally, we handle all types of bulky waste, from heavy corner sofas to large American fridge freezers. Once everything is removed, we also leave the room swept and ready to use.
The Rubbish Removers vs. Cheshire East Council Bulk Collection
| Feature | The Rubbish Removers | Cheshire East Council |
|---|---|---|
| Collection Point | Any Room / Upstairs | Kerbside Only (You drag it out) |
| Speed | Same Day / 24 Hours | Booking Required / Variable Availability |
| Heavy Lifting | 2-Man Team Included | Zero Assistance |
| Item Limits | We take Multiple Items | Strict Item Limits and high fees |
What We Take
- Household Waste: Sofas (sectionals, recliners, Chesterfields), heavy mattresses and also large bed frames.
- White Goods: American-style fridges, washing machines as well as any under-counter freezers.
- General Junk: Broken furniture, old carpets, black bag waste and also any boxes of loft clutter.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
– Single Item: Prices start from £80 + VAT and are ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a broken fridge or heavy wardrobe.
– Quarter Van Load: Roughly 20–30 bin bags or 2–3 cubic yards, perfect for clearing a box room or under-stairs cupboard.
– Half Van Load: Around 6 cubic yards, similar to a standard builders’ skip, making it ideal for a master bedroom clear-out without the need for a skip permit.
– Full Van Load: 12–14 cubic yards, equivalent to roughly two standard 8-yard skips, so it’s suitable for full house clearances or larger decluttering projects.
