Fridge Removal in Macclesfield
Trusted and Professional Service
When it comes to a fridge removal service in Macclesfield, we do the heavy lifting. Getting a large appliance out of your kitchen can seem tricky, however, our professional in-house, uniformed team makes the process simple. Whether you live in a traditional red-brick Silk cottage on a steep hill or a modern family home in the Weston estate, we’re ready to help.
We remove the fridge directly from indoors, so you don’t have to struggle with narrow doorways or risk injury. As an Environment Agency Registered waste carrier (Licence CBDU409710), we ensure your old fridge is disposed of legally and responsibly.
We are proud to be a Which? Trusted Trader and a Trading Standards Buy With Confidence approved business. Our local crews know Macclesfield well and carefully manoeuvre large appliances, including American-style fridge freezers, while protecting your floors and also walls.
For a fast, fully insured service, call our North West Head Office on 0161 339 7938 or WhatsApp 07802 860 731 to book your AM or PM collection slot.
Why Choose Us for Fridge Removal in Macclesfield?
- We Collect From Inside: Unlike the Cheshire East Council bulky waste service, which requires kerbside presentation, we are happy to come inside. This means we can collect directly from your kitchen, utility room or garage.
- Protection & Care: Since Macclesfield’s heritage properties often have tight corners and narrow hallways, we take extra care when moving bulky items. We use protection where needed to look after your flooring, walls and also doorways.
- Speed: If you need a quick solution, we offer a reliable same-day response when you call early. For example, this is perfect when your brand-new fridge is arriving and the old one needs removing immediately.
- All Styles Taken: Finally, from large American-style fridge freezers to small under-counter units, our two-man teams handle them all, ensuring proper WEEE recycling and 100% safe degassing.

Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
Single Item
Prices start from £80 + VAT. This option is ideal for a standalone bulky item, such as a tall fridge or chest freezer. Plus, it’s often cheaper and much faster than the council bulky collection service.
Quarter Van Load
If you’re replacing several appliances, this option is perfect. For example, we can collect a fridge, washing machine and oven in one visit.
Half Van Load
For larger clearances, this is ideal for a full kitchen strip-out where multiple appliances as well as any old cabinets need removing.
Full Van Load
Finally, our largest option offers a capacity equivalent to roughly two standard 8-yard skips. This makes it suitable for commercial restaurant or café refits.
– You only pay for the volume you use, unlike a skip where you pay for fresh air.
Get a Firm Price: Send a photo of your appliance to 07802 860 731.
Typical Jobs in Macclesfield
– Fridge Removal in Macclesfield Town Centre: For example, we cleared a large American-style fridge using our fast wait-and-load service, therefore avoiding any road blockages on the narrow, cobbled streets near the Silk Museum.
– Appliance Clearance in a Steep Silk Cottage: In another case, we safely carried a heavy chest freezer down a steep path, providing an easy alternative to an otherwise impossible kerbside drop.
– Kitchen Refit Disposal in the Weston Estate: Additionally, we removed an under-counter fridge and the packaging as well as an unwanted mattress directly from the customers property, saving the homeowner a trip to the busy Danes Moss recycling centre.
How It Works
1. Get a Quote
First, give us a call, fill in our contact form or you can also WhatsApp a photo of the item to 07802 860 731.
2. We Arrive
Next, our two-man team arrives within a specific morning or afternoon window. Plus, we give you a quick call ahead so you’re not left waiting around.
3. We Remove
Then, we carefully disconnect the fridge, protect your kitchen flooring and carry it out safely, even through narrow cottage doors or tight corners.
4. Recycling
Finally, 100% of fridges are safely de-gassed at authorised treatment facilities. Most of the general waste we collect is diverted from landfill.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
No. Our professional two-man team will collect your fridge from upstairs flats, basements or tight kitchens, handling all the heavy lifting safely for you.
Do you take large or awkward items like American fridges?
Yes. We have the correct vehicles, equipment and also trained staff to handle extremely large appliances and manoeuvre them safely out of your property.
Is your disposal legal?
Absolutely. As a fully licensed Upper Tier Waste Carrier (Licence CBDU409710), every job comes with a proper Waste Transfer Note. This ensures your old fridge is taken to a licensed facility for legal WEEE recycling.
I live on a narrow cobbled street in Macclesfield, can you still help?
Yes. Since navigating the narrow cobbled streets near the town centre can be challenging, skips are often impossible to place. Instead, our local crews use mobile vans for a quick wait-and-load service to keep roads clear and your property safe.
Can I take my own fridge to the Danes Moss tip?
You can. However, Danes Moss is a smaller site that often experiences long queues and limited capacity. Transporting a fridge requires a large vehicle, and the site is strict with commercial vans. So, save yourself the heavy lifting and let our team handle the entire process.
