Great service from Cameron & James for a shed removal, then follow up from Cameron, Leland & Stu for some leftover foliage clearance. Cheers.
Alex H.16 April 2025 · Google review
Professional two guy team removed the corner sofa with ease which I’ve had sitting in the flat years (council removal you need to book months in advance and somehow get the sofa to the curb on the pickup date). None I could do myself as based in London and only spend a few days up in Manchester at a time! Submitted the online form with a picture, and they were able to collect two days after! It wasn’t cheap but definitely glad to have the old corner sofa finally gone!

Why Choose Us for Sofa Removal Service in Brighouse?
- We Collect From Inside: Unlike Calderdale Council’s bulky waste service which strictly requires curb side presentation, our friendly two man teams collect directly from your living room, conservatory, or upstairs bedroom.

- All Styles Taken: So whether it is a heavy corner sectional, a massive recliner, or an old Chesterfield, we have the capacity to handle it all.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor? A: No. Our professional 2 man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, living rooms, or apartments, also doing all the heavy lifting safely so you do not have to lift a finger.
Q: Do you take large/awkward items like corner sofas? A: Yes. We have the vehicles, tools, and experience to safely handle large sectionals, recliners, and heavy awkward furniture.
Q: Is your disposal legal? A: Yes. We are a fully registered Upper Tier Waste Carrier (Licence CBDU409710). Every job comes with a proper Waste Transfer Note, and we guarantee 100% legal recycling at a licensed transfer station.
Q: Does Calderdale Council collect from inside my house? A: No. The council operates a strict curb side only collection. However, we know this is physically difficult for residents living in Brighouse’s traditional stone terraces or modern apartments, which is why we proudly handle all the indoor lifting.
Q: I live on a narrow street in Brighouse, can you still help? A: Yes. We know that parking near the town centre and along the riverside can be tight. Our vans are highly mobile and we plan our loading carefully to avoid blocking access roads, making us the perfect choice over a bulky skip.
Q: Can I take my own sofa to the Atlas Mill Road tip? A: You can, but the Atlas Mill Road tip is small and gets gridlocked very quickly. Calderdale Council also strictly checks tip permits against council tax bills, making borrowing a van highly restrictive. We save you the hassle, the queue, and the heavy lifting.
