Why Choose Us for Missed Bin Collection in Wyre?
Skip Hire Alternative:
Hiring a skip for a pile of missed bin bags is often overkill and expensive. However, our service is cheaper than a skip, requires no permit fees, and crucially, we do the loading for you. You only pay for the volume of waste we take, not for fresh air.
We Sweep Up:
Unlike the council crews who may leave dropped litter behind, our team prides itself on leaving your driveway or bin store area broom clean. We also sweep up any loose debris, ensuring the area is spotless and hygienic before we leave.
Emergency Same-Day Response:
We know that maggots, smells, and split bags constitute a domestic emergency. We therefore aim for same day or next day service to resolve these sanitation risks immediately.
Hygiene & Safety:
We handle all unpleasant waste safely. If bags have split due to wind or animals, a common issue in coastal areas like Fleetwood, we therefore shovel, bag, and clear the mess so you don’t have to touch it.
The Rubbish Removers vs. Skip Hire in Wyre
For domestic bagged waste or commercial overflow, a skip is often not the right tool. Therefore here is why our service is the superior choice for Wyre residents:
| Feature | The Rubbish Removers | Skip Hire |
|---|---|---|
| Labour | We Load Everything (You stay clean) | You Do All The Work (Heavy lifting) |
| Permits | No Permit Needed (Wait & Load) | £30-£50 Permit Fee (If on road) |
| Driveway | Safe (Rubber Tyres / Vans) | Scratches/Cracks Paving (Heavy skips) |
| Speed | Gone in 60 Mins (Immediate clearance) | Stuck on drive for weeks (Visual eyesore) |
What We Take
We collect a wide range of refuse that might be overflowing from your standard wheelie bins:
General Domestic Waste: Black bin bags, kitchen waste, and also general household clutter.
Recycling Overflow: Cardboard boxes, plastics, and packaging that won’t fit in your recycling bin.
Garden Waste: Grass cuttings, hedge trimmings, and old plants that Wyre Council charges extra to collect.
Fly-Tipping Clearance: If waste has been dumped on your private land, we can clear hazardous piles and also provide evidence for your records.
How It Works
We have refined our process to be as simple and stress free as possible for our customers:
1. Get a Quote: Simply give us a call on 0161 339 7938 or WhatsApp a photo of your waste pile to 07802 860 731. We will provide a transparent estimate upfront.
2. Clearance: Our uniformed team arrives in a dedicated waste removal vehicle. We also bring shovels, heavy duty bags, and brooms to clear the lot efficiently.
3. Sweep Up: Once the bulk of the waste is loaded, we then sweep the entire area clean, ensuring any residue or small debris is also removed.
4. Disposal: You receive a digital Waste Transfer Note (WTN) immediately via email. This is your proof of legal disposal and satisfies your Duty of Care.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
Our pricing is transparent and based on the amount of rubbish we remove. You never pay for empty space.
Single Item / Small Pile: Prices start from £80+vat. Ideal for a small pile of 10 to 15 bin bags that missed the morning collection.
Quarter Van Load: Roughly 20-30 bin bags. Perfect for clearing out a bin store that hasn’t been emptied in a month or after a family party.
Half Van Load: Roughly 6 cubic yards (50-60 bin bags). Comparable to a builders’ skip but without the hassle of a permit. Great for a major clear out.
Full Van Load: 100+ bin bags. Equivalent to two large skips. Suitable for commercial bin store clearances or large scale fly tipping removal.
Get a Firm Price: Send a photo of your pile to 07802 860 731.
Typical Jobs in Wyre
We operate throughout the Wyre borough, handling logistics that skip lorries often struggle with:
Missed Collection in Fleetwood:
We cleared 25 bags of general waste from a rear alleyway. The coastal wind had also scattered debris, so our “Wait & Load” service was essential to clear and sweep the area before pests arrived.
Bin Store Clearance in Poulton-le-Fylde:
We attended a block of flats where the communal bins had overflowed. We manually loaded the excess loose waste and cardboard, therefore leaving the area accessible for the next council round.
Garden Waste in Garstang:
A resident in a rural lane missed their green bin slot. We collected twelve heavy bags of soil and clippings. Our van also easily navigated the narrow access road that would have been impossible for a large skip wagon.
Areas We Cover in Wyre
We cover the entire Wyre district and surrounding Lancashire villages, including:
- Fleetwood
- Poulton-le-Fylde
- Thornton-Cleveleys

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you take loose rubbish or does it have to be bagged? A: Ideally, waste should be bagged for hygiene, but we have shovels and brooms to handle loose piles, spilt bins, or fox damaged bags. We charge by volume, so we can bag it up for you if necessary.
Q: Do you dismantle sheds or garden structures? A: Yes, if your missed collection involves bulky garden items, we offer full dismantling and removal. We act as a complete Man and Van Clearance service, handling what the bin men won’t touch.
Q: Will you clean up the mess afterwards? A: Absolutely. Our “We Sweep Up” promise is a core part of our service. We ensure your driveway, path, or alleyway is left clean and tidy, removing the risk of vermin returning.
Q: Do I need a skip permit for Wyre? A: Only if you hire a skip and place it on a public highway. With our service, no permit is required. We arrive, load the vehicle immediately, and drive away. This is particularly useful in terraced streets in Fleetwood or Poulton where parking is tight.
Q: Will Wyre Council take my extra bags? A: generally, local councils operate a strict “lid down” policy and will not collect extra bags left at the side of the wheelie bin. They also strictly prohibit construction waste or heavy soil in domestic bins. We take all of this, providing a Bulky Waste Collection solution that fills the gap left by municipal services.
