In addition, we plan our stair access and tight corner navigation in advance, using proper protection to look after your flooring, walls, and doorways. Everything is removed safely with minimal disruption.
Speed:
Same-day options are available if you call early, which is perfect when your brand new mattress is arriving today and you urgently need the old one gone.
All Styles Taken:

Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- SINGLE ITEM Prices start from £80+vat. So ideal for a standalone bulky item like a heavy memory foam mattress or a large bed frame. Cheaper and faster than council bulky collection.
- QUARTER VAN LOAD Roughly 20-30 bin bags / 2-3 cubic yards. Also perfect for clearing out an entire bedroom set, including the mattress, frame, and a couple of bedside tables.
- HALF VAN LOAD Roughly 6 cubic yards / 50-60 bin bags. Therefore comparable capacity to a standard 6-yard builders’ skip. Ideal for a large master bedroom clear-out or multiple beds during a property turnover.
- FULL VAN LOAD 12-14 cubic yards / 100+ bin bags / 800kg payload. A large capacity equivalent to roughly two standard 8-yard skips. Suitable for full house clearances or multi-bedroom rental turnovers.
Get a Firm Price: Send a photo of your pile to 07802 860 731. You only pay for the space you fill, unlike a skip where you pay for air.
Typical Jobs in Wyre
Mattress Removal in Poulton-le-Fylde:
For example, we cleared a heavy king-size mattress and bed frame from a 1930s detached villa, using a Wait & Load service to protect the customer’s expensive driveway paving from skip damage.
Bedroom Clearance in Fleetwood:
We navigated narrow Victorian terrace stairs to remove multiple mattresses and old furniture, saving the resident a long, restricted drive to the Jameson Road HWRC.
Retirement Flat Clearance in Cleveleys:
Finally, we carefully removed an adjustable bed and memory foam mattress from a coastal apartment, handling all the heavy lifting and leaving the shared corridors perfectly clean and safe.
How It Works
- Get a Quote: To begin with, give us a call, fill in our contact form or WhatsApp a photo of the item to 07802 860 731.
- We Arrive: Next, our friendly, uniformed 2-man team arrives in a specific window, giving you a quick call ahead so you are not left waiting.
- We Remove: After that, we carefully carry the mattress and bed down your stairs and out of your property, sweeping up any dust or debris left behind under the bed.
- Recycling: Finally, you instantly receive a digital Waste Transfer Note, and we ensure most of the items we collect are diverted from landfill through ethical recycling.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
A: Absolutely not. Our 2-man team collects directly from upstairs bedrooms, lofts, or seaside apartments, doing all the heavy lifting safely so you do not have to lift a finger.
Q: Is your disposal legal?
A: Yes. We are fully insured and licensed waste carriers (CBDU409710). We provide a legal Waste Transfer Note every time, and your waste is processed at a licensed recycling transfer station.
Q: Does Wyre Council collect from inside my house?
A: No, they do not. The council is strict on kerbside-only collections. This is especially difficult for residents in coastal flats or terraced properties who cannot safely move a heavy, floppy mattress onto the pavement.
Q: I live in a coastal apartment in Cleveleys, can you still help?
A: Yes, absolutely. We are highly experienced in navigating communal stairwells, tight corridors, and coastal properties. We manage any temporary obstructions and ensure shared areas are kept perfectly clean while we work.
Q: Can I take my own mattress to the Jameson Road tip in Fleetwood?
A: You can, but it is not always straightforward. They frequently ask for a utility bill alongside a driving licence, and if you hire a van to transport the mattress, you will face strict permit checks. Our service skips the tip queue entirely.
