We Do The Heavy Lifting
Our friendly team handles all the heavy lifting during your mattress removal service in Wilmslow, making it quick, safe and completely stress-free. As an Environment Agency Registered carrier (CBDU409710), The Rubbish Removers Ltd provides a fully insured man and van clearance service directly from your bedroom.
We understand the unique access challenges of Wilmslow properties, from gated mansions with narrow stone entrances to modern eco-homes with tight staircases. Our uniformed two-man teams are trained to remove bulky items carefully and efficiently without damaging your property.
You can book with complete confidence because we are both a Which? Trusted Trader and Trading Standards Approved company. We also provide a fast and reliable skip hire alternative, saving you the hassle of waiting for a council collection or travelling to the Macclesfield tip. So, call our North West head office today on 0161 339 7938 or WhatsApp a photo of your items to 07802 860 731 for a quick quote.

Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
SINGLE ITEM
Prices start from £80 + VAT. This option is ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a heavy memory foam mattress or large bed frame. In many cases, it is both cheaper and faster than arranging a local bulky waste collection.
QUARTER VAN LOAD
Roughly 20 to 30 bin bags or 2 to 3 cubic yards. This is perfect for clearing a full master bedroom set, including the mattress, bed frame, and bedside tables. It offers a convenient alternative to hiring a skip.
HALF VAN LOAD
Roughly 6 cubic yards. Comparable in size to a standard builders’ skip, but without the hassle of permits or driveway obstruction. It is ideal for replacing multiple beds across several rooms in one visit.
FULL VAN LOAD
12 to 14 cubic yards. This large-capacity option is perfect for full house clearances, property renovations or large estate upgrades in Wilmslow where multiple bulky items need removing quickly and efficiently.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
Absolutely not. Our professional two-man team collects mattresses directly from upstairs bedrooms, loft conversions and difficult access areas. You do not need to do any heavy lifting yourself.
Do you take large or awkward items like super king memory foam mattresses?
Yes. We have the vehicles, trained staff and specialist equipment needed to safely remove heavy and awkward mattresses, bed frames and bulky bedroom furniture.
Is your disposal legal?
Yes. We are fully licensed waste carriers (CBDU409710) and ensure all items are processed through authorised recycling and transfer facilities. You receive a Duty of Care Waste Transfer Note for complete peace of mind.
Does Cheshire East Council collect from inside my house?
No. Cheshire East Council operates a strict curbside-only collection policy. Residents in Wilmslow with large detached homes or long private driveways are often left to move bulky mattresses themselves.
I live on a property with narrow gateposts in Wilmslow, can you still help?
Yes. We understand that many Wilmslow properties have tight entrances and restricted access. However, our collection vans are far more manoeuvrable than large skip lorries, allowing us to safely access awkward driveways and private roads.
