With the UK hopefully past the peak of Covid-19. We feel now is the time to address the situation fully. So we want to reassure our customers that measures and procedures have been put in place on all waste collections. You can have confidence that we are working with as much precaution as possible, and will continue to do so.
We have always excelled in prioritising the safety of our staff and the quality of service we provide to our customers. Our response to the current circumstances mirrors this ethos.
Our decision to cease operations completely for the first time in over 20 years, was a difficult one, which we did not take lightly. However, we felt the need to prioritise the safety of our community was far more important than profit.
How Our Waste Collection’s Will Change Moving Forward?
Subsequently we have had time to implement safe working measures with our teams. Therefore safely resuming operations and performing essential waste collections and rubbish removals in a controlled manner. Contact has been reduced to almost none, and where this contact is required, our teams have masks and substantial sanitisation in the vans to ensure a safe interaction, whilst adhering to the government’s social distancing guidelines.
Because of the nature of our work, we have the ability to reduce all contact with our customers. Payments can be made over the phone and our waste collection & house clearance teams can turn up with clear instructions on what is to be taken, remove these items, and load onto one of our trucks. We dispose of all waste professionally, legally, and ethically with upwards of 90% diverted from landfill.
We would like to praise our loyal customers, who in this unprecedented time awaited our reopening. Also to the many new customers who have booked in clearances with no set date, THANK YOU for understanding our circumstances. This has allowed us to steadily get through the backlog of work. If you have accumulated excess waste whilst on lockdown, please do not hesitate to get in touch and see how we can help.
Finally, we want to say a huge thank you to all the frontline workers. Teachers, delivery drivers, supermarket workers, and many more. But especially to the NHS staff. All of who in a time of uncertainty have stepped up and kept our country running.
A final message of importance.
Stay safe, make sure your waste is disposed of legally. If they cannot provide you with a licence number, steer clear!!
