Missed Bin Collection in Trafford – No Skip Permit Needed
Dealing with a missed bin collection in Trafford can quickly turn from a minor annoyance into a sanitary hazard, especially during the warmer months. Whether the council has missed your street, or you have simply generated more waste than your wheelie bins can hold, The Rubbish Removers Ltd provides a rapid, licensed solution to clear the backlog immediately. We are a fully licensed Upper Tier Waste Carrier (CBDU409710), a Which? Trusted Trader, as well as a Trading Standards Approved “Buy With Confidence” member, contact us on 0161 339 7938 to restore order to your property.
In Trafford, leaving bags of rubbish next to your bin is often rejected by refuse collectors, leading to unsightly piles that attract pests. For example, our uniformed, professional teams act as your emergency service, collecting everything from black bag waste to overflowing garden refuse in Altrincham, Sale and Stretford. We provide a complete “Wait & Load” service, meaning we arrive, load the waste ourselves and sweep the area clean, ensuring you aren’t left with the mess or the stress of arranging a skip for a few extra bags.
Why Choose Us for Missed Bin Collection in Trafford?
Residents in Hale and Bowdon often face specific challenges with council collection vehicles struggling to access narrow, gated driveways, as a result, our service provides a practical alternative. Furthermore, if you live in Sale and have invested in a high-quality resin or block paved driveway, you likely do not want a heavy steel skip scratching the surface. We offer a mobile, agile alternative that respects your property and solves the problem instantly.
Skip Hire Alternative: We are significantly cheaper than hiring a skip for a pile of bin bags. You pay only for the volume of waste we take, therefore no expensive permits are required.
We Sweep Up: Overflowing bins often leave behind debris or leaked fluids. Unlike the council, who simply tip the bin and leave, we sweep the area thoroughly, leaving your driveway or bin store broom clean.
Speed: We offer an emergency same-day response where available. If your bins are overflowing today, we can often be there within hours to clear the health hazard.
100% Legal Disposal: We provide a full Waste Transfer Note with every collection, as a result proving your Duty of Care has been met and your rubbish is being handled legally.

What We Take
We clear all types of domestic as well as commercial waste streams that typically cause bin overflow:
General Household: Black bin bags, packaging, food waste containers as well as general clutter.
Garden Waste: Grass cuttings, hedge trimmings and also old turf (essential given Trafford Council’s green bin charges).
Recyclables: Cardboard boxes, glass bottles and mixed plastics.
Fly-Tipping: If you have been a victim of fly-tipping on your private land, we can clear the hazardous pile safely.
How It Works
1. Get a Quote: Give us a call or WhatsApp a photo of the rubbish pile to 07802 860 731.
2. Clearance: Our two-man team arrives in a specific time slot. We bring shovels, brooms as well as heavy-duty bags to clear the lot.
3. Sweep Up: We sweep the area completely clean, ensuring no loose debris or glass is left behind on your driveway.
4. Disposal: You receive a digital Waste Transfer Note instantly, essential for your liability protection.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
Our pricing is transparent and based on volume. You never pay for “fresh air” subsequently as you would with a fixed-size skip.
Single Item / Small Pile
Prices start from £80+VAT. For example, it’s ideal for 10 to 15 extra bin bags that won’t fit in your wheelie bin.
Quarter Van Load
Roughly 20–30 bin bags. Also, it’s equivalent to a small garden tidy-up or a large post-party clear-out.
Half Van Load
Roughly 6 cubic yards. Comparable capacity to a standard builders’ skip, perfect for a garage clear-out or accumulated waste.
Full Van Load
12-14 cubic yards. A massive capacity equivalent to two standard 8-yard skips, suitable for major clear-outs.
Get a Firm Price: Send a photo of your pile to 07802 860 731.
Typical Jobs in Trafford
Emergency Bin Clearance in Hale: We attended a property with a long, gated driveway where council wagons had refused access. For this reason, we used our smaller vehicles to perform a “Wait & Load” service, clearing three weeks’ worth of accumulated household waste.
Garden Waste Removal in Sale: A homeowner had piled up green waste due to the council’s collection charges. We cleared the pile from their block-paved driveway, specifically ensuring our vehicle remained on the road to protect the paving.
Commercial Bin Overflow near Trafford Centre: We cleared a large pile of packaging and also trade waste from a retail unit’s loading bay that had been missed by their regular contractor, restoring access for deliveries.
Areas We Cover in Trafford
We provide immediate coverage across the borough, including Altrincham, Sale, Stretford, Hale, Bowdon, Timperley, Urmston, and Old Trafford.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you take soil, rubble, and bricks? Yes. While these items often break wheelie bins or are refused by the council, we can take heavy inert waste. We charge by weight for dense materials, but we handle all the loading for you.
Q: Do you dismantle sheds or garden structures? Yes. If your “missed bin” issue is actually an old shed filled with rubbish, we can dismantle the structure and remove the contents in one go.
Q: Will you clean up the mess afterwards? Yes. This is a core part of our service. Instead of just grabbing the bags, we sweep up any loose rubbish, maggots, or debris that may have spilled out, leaving your area sanitary and tidy.
Q: Do I need a skip permit for Trafford? Only if you hire a skip that needs to go on the road. Trafford Council charges for this and also the process can be slow. In contrast, our service uses a “Wait & Load” approach, meaning we park legally, load the waste immediately, and drive away no permit needed.
Q: Will Trafford Council take my extra DIY or Garden waste? Often, no. Trafford Council has strict limits on DIY waste at tips and also charges for green bin collections. They also generally refuse to take loose bags left beside the bin. We take it all, including the items they leave behind.
Q: Can you collect from properties with difficult access in Trafford? Yes. We are very experienced with the logistics of Trafford, for example from the narrow, gated lanes of Bowdon to the busy main roads of Stretford. Our teams carry the waste to the vehicle, so tight access is rarely an issue.
