Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
No, you don’t need to lift a finger. Our two-man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, basements and apartments, handling all the lifting safely for you.
Do you take large or awkward items like American fridges or corner sofas?
Yes, we do. We have the right vehicles and equipment to handle even the largest items. We plan for staircases, tight corners and access routes in advance to ensure safe removal with minimal risk of damage.
Is your disposal legal?
Yes, absolutely. We take Duty of Care seriously and operate under Environment Agency licence CBDU409710. All waste is processed through authorised transfer stations for 100% legal recycling.
Does Trafford Council collect from inside my house?
No, Trafford Council operates a strict curbside-only service. This can create difficulties for Timperley residents with terraces and shared ginnels where bulky items cannot be left outside safely.
I live on a narrow street in Timperley, can you still help?
Yes, of course. We understand that narrow lanes, shared alleys, and low tree canopies in Timperley can make skip placement difficult. Our mobile vans collect directly from your property with no need for permits.
Can I take my own sofa or fridge to Woodhouse Lane tip?
You can, but it often involves long queues and limited capacity, especially at weekends. Instead, our team can save you the time and heavy lifting with a fast, convenient collection service.
Save your back and your walls!
