Easy to use service from booking to collection of the mattresses. Quick responses when booking, great communication throughout. On the day, prompt collection by two very pleasant lads ( despite the sudden hailstorm!!) An excellent, efficient service at a very fair price. Thanks a lot.

Why Choose Us for Mattress Removal in Stretford?
We Collect From Inside:
Unlike the council’s kerbside-only policy, we are happy to come inside and handle all the heavy lifting for you. In particular, our experienced teams navigate the tight stairs often found in traditional Stretford properties, removing mattresses directly from your bedroom quickly and safely.
Protection & Care:
Your floors, walls, and doorways are carefully protected throughout the collection process. Our trained teams plan lift access and stair routes in advance to avoid unnecessary damage. Your home remains clean, tidy, and completely protected during the removal.
Speed:
Same-day collection options are available when you call early. Therefore, if your new memory foam or orthopaedic mattress is arriving today, we can remove the old one before the delivery van arrives. This helps you avoid unnecessary delays or clutter in your home.
Bed Frame Removal Included:
In addition to mattress collection, we also remove king-size beds, divan bases, heavy headboards, and memory foam mattresses. Everything is loaded swiftly and responsibly so you can get on with your day without any hassle.

- Memory foam and pocket sprung mattresses
- King size, double, and single mattresses
- Divan bed bases and wooden frames
- Headboards and general bedroom furniture
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- Single Item: Prices start from £80+vat. Ideal for a standalone bulky item like a heavy king-size mattress or a large bed frame. Cheaper and faster than council bulky collection.
- Quarter Van Load: Roughly 20-30 bin bags or 2-3 cubic yards. Great for clearing out a box room, including a single mattress, bedside tables, and a chest of drawers.
- Half Van Load: Roughly 6 cubic yards. Comparable capacity to a standard builders’ skip (6-yarder) but with no permit fees. Ideal for a large master bedroom clear-out, taking the mattress, frame, and old wardrobes.
- Full Van Load: 12-14 cubic yards or 800kg payload. Equivalent to roughly two standard 8-yard skips. Suitable for full house clearances where multiple bedrooms need emptying.

Typical Jobs in Stretford
- Bedroom Clearance near Old Trafford: We recently cleared a heavy memory foam mattress and a broken bed frame using our convenient Wait & Load service. The customer completely avoided match day gridlock and local parking restrictions, making the collection fast and stress-free.
- Apartment Move in the Stretford Mall Area: Our uniformed team also carried a bulky super-king mattress down two flights of stairs from a rental flat. We swept the shared corridors clean afterwards to ensure neighbours were not disturbed and the communal areas remained tidy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you collect mattresses from upstairs bedrooms? A: Yes, we collect mattresses from upstairs rooms, loft conversions, apartments, and tight staircases. Our experienced two-man teams safely navigate narrow hallways and stairs while protecting your walls, floors, and door frames throughout the process.
Q: Do you offer same-day mattress removal? A: Yes, same-day mattress removal may be available if you contact us early in the day. Therefore, if your new bed is arriving soon, we can quickly remove the old mattress to free up valuable space.
Q: Is your disposal legal? A: Yes. We are an Upper Tier Waste Carrier (License CBDU409710) and guarantee 100% legal recycling. Every job includes a digital Waste Transfer Note for your peace of mind regarding your Duty of Care.
Q: Does Trafford Council collect from inside my house? A: No. Trafford Council is strict on kerbside-only collections. This is particularly difficult for residents living in Stretford’s traditional terraced properties with narrow hallways and no front gardens.
Q: Can I take my own mattress to the local tip on Chester Road? A: You can, but the Chester Road recycling centre can be completely inaccessible for hours due to match day traffic or nearby industrial congestion. If you borrow a van, you may also face strict permit restrictions, making our collection service a much simpler alternative.
