Our teams do all the heavy lifting when it comes to a mattress removal service in Southport, so you do not have to struggle with stairs or narrow doorways. Trusted Traders and Trading Standards Approved members, you can trust your waste is handled legally.
Why Choose Us for Mattress Removal in Southport?
We Collect From Inside – Unlike the council which relies on curbside collection, our two-man team comes right into your bedroom. We can safely navigate stairs in large Victorian villas and top-floor apartments without any hassle.
Protection & Care – In addition, we use protective materials to ensure your floors, walls, and lifts are looked after while moving awkward king-size mattresses. Finally, we sweep the room before we leave so it is completely ready for your new bed.
Speed – Moreover, we offer a same-day service if you call early. This means that when your new bed is arriving today, we can remove the old one immediately.
Bed Frame Removal Included – Finally, we take all types of mattresses and can dismantle heavy wooden or metal bed frames as part of our Man and Van Clearance service.

Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
SINGLE ITEM
Prices start from £80+vat, equivalent to 10 to 15 bags. This option is ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a king-size mattress or heavy wooden bed frame. It is often cheaper and faster than a council collection.
QUARTER VAN LOAD
This covers roughly 20–30 bin bags or 2–3 cubic yards. It is great for clearing out a box room, including a single bed, mattress and old bedside tables.
HALF VAN LOAD
This is roughly 6 cubic yards or 50–60 bin bags, comparable to a standard builders skip. You avoid permit fees and the risk of skips sinking into soft sandy driveways.
FULL VAN LOAD
Finally, this is 12–14 cubic yards or 100+ bin bags with an 800kg payload. It is suitable for full house clearances or hotel renovations along the promenade.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I Need To Get The Item To The Ground Floor?
No. Our professional two-man team collects from upstairs bedrooms or apartments and does all the lifting safely.
Do You Take Large Or Awkward Items Like Super King Mattresses?
Yes. We have the vehicles and tools needed to handle large items and dismantle heavy bed frames where required.
Is Your Disposal Legal?
Yes. We are an Upper Tier Waste Carrier (Licence CBDU409710). We ensure 100% legal recycling at a licensed transfer station.
Does Sefton Council Collect From Inside Your House?
No. Sefton Council operates a strict curbside-only collection service. This can be difficult for residents in Victorian seaside villas.
I Live On A Narrow Street In Southport, Can You Still Help?
Yes. In addition, we understand that the Lord Street conservation area has strict skip restrictions. Our mobile vans provide a convenient skip hire alternative and handle tight parking with ease.
Can I Take My Own Mattress To The Local Tip?
You can. However, Southport Recycling Centre is often very busy and operates strict rules. Our service saves you the time, effort, and need to hire a van.
