Brill company, we had a room FULL of mixed items we needed to be rid of, the process was super easy and simple, just a quick phone call, some photos, and bobs your uncle. The two lads they sent over (many apologies but i have forgotten their names) were super nice and hard working, they had too do many trips up and down the stairs, but they powered through and had the job done in under two hours! Would recommend, and thankyou guys :)

One of our favourite London clients needed a clearance outside of our area of operation, so we outsourced the job to The Rubbish Removers. The client was delighted with the team who did the collection, commenting: "The collection on Monday was very smooth and the team there were very pleased with the operatives. The reception team there had no issues and were extremely satisfied with the collection" We would like to say a massive thank you to The Rubbish Removers for the fantastic experience of both ourselves in the booking process and our lovely client during collection.

Excellent service from my initial enquiry through to completion. I was very struck by the quiet, pleasant efficiency of the team when they were carrying out the removal of two bulky items. Highly recommended!

Why Choose Us for Bulky Waste Collection in Sheffield?
We Collect From Inside: Unlike standard council curbside collections, we are happy to come inside and do the heavy lifting for you. We take items directly from your lounge, kitchen, cellar or upstairs bedroom.
Protection & Care: Navigating tight terraced doors and narrow staircases is our speciality. We take extra care when moving bulky items and use protection to ensure your floors, walls and doorways are looked after.
Speed: We offer a rapid same-day service, which is perfect if your new sofa or fridge is arriving today. You will also receive a quick courtesy call thirty minutes before we arrive.
All Styles Taken: From heavy items, such as American fridges and corner sofas to massive wooden bed frames, our teams have the right vehicles and tools to clear it all.

What We Take (Bulky Waste Collection)
Sofas and Seating: Including sectionals, recliners, Chesterfield sofas and heavy sofa beds.
Bedroom Furniture: Such as memory foam mattresses, king-size mattresses, bed frames and headboards.
Large Appliances: I.e. American style fridges, chest freezers, washing machines and under-counter units with full WEEE Recycling provided.
General Household Bulky Items: Broken wardrobes, heavy dining tables and large rolled carpets.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
Single Item: Prices start from £80+vat, making it ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a fridge, sofa or wardrobe.
Quarter Van Load: Roughly two to three cubic yards, which is great for clearing out a box room or a small pile of unwanted furniture.
Half Van Load: Comparable to a standard builders skip. This is perfect for a large master bedroom clear-out, but without the hassle of a skip blocking your road.
Full Van Load: A large 12 to 14 cubic yard caged tipper, suitable for full house clearances or large office strip-outs.
You only pay for the space you fill, unlike a skip where you pay for fresh air. Get a firm price today by sending a photo of your pile to our WhatsApp on 07802 860 731 or instead, fill in our contact form.
Typical Jobs in Sheffield
Cellar Clearance in Crookes: We removed heavy old furniture and also scrap metal directly from a steep cellar to avoid the customer dragging it up narrow steps.
Loft Clearance in the West End: We cleared bulky wardrobes and bed frames from a large stone villa, using our Wait & Load service, subsequently bypassing local parking issues.
Appliance Removal in the City Centre: We collected a massive American fridge from a high-rise flat, taking great care to protect the shared lifts and corridors.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor? A: No, you can leave everything exactly where it is. Our two-man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, steep cellars or even high-rise apartments, doing all the lifting safely.
Q: Do you take large or awkward items like American fridges and corner sofas? A: Yes, we absolutely do. Our local crews have the right tools as well as spacious vehicles to handle large, awkward items with ease.
Q: Is your disposal legal? A: Yes, we are fully licensed (CBDU409710) and also provide a Waste Transfer Note for every collection. This guarantees your Duty of Care is met and proves your waste is never fly-tipped.
Q: Does Sheffield City Council collect from inside my house? A: No, council collections are strictly kerbside only. This is extremely difficult for residents living on steep terraced streets like Blake Street, where dragging heavy items outside is unsafe.
Q: I live on a narrow street in Sheffield with tramlines, can you still help? A: Yes, we certainly can. We know that parking near tramlines or on steep hills is difficult, which is why our mobile vans offer a fast Wait & Load service that completely avoids blocking the road.
Q: Can I take my own sofa or fridge to a local recycling centre in Sheffield? A: You can, but you need an appropriate vehicle to transport it safely. If you try to borrow or hire a van, you will likely face strict van permit restrictions and long queues at the tip.
