The Rubbish Removers Ltd is a family-run business with over 25 years of experience, proudly serving North Yorkshire and beyond. Trusted Trader company, you can rely on our uniformed teams to arrive on time, clear your site and sweep up the area afterwards. Call us today on 0113 420 8477 or WhatsApp photos of your waste to 07802 860 731 for an instant quote.

Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- Single Item: Prices start from £80+VAT. Ideal for a standalone bulky item or a small pile of leftover tiles.

- Quarter Van Load: Roughly 20-30 bin bags or 2-3 cubic yards. Equivalent to a dismantled shed or a small garden tidy-up.
- Full Van Load: 12-14 cubic yards or over 100 bin bags. A large capacity equivalent to roughly two standard 8-yard skips. However, you only pay for the volume you fill.
Get a Price: Send a photo of your pile to 07802 860 731.
Typical Jobs in Selby
- Farm Clearance in surrounding rural villages: We cleared old equipment and also fencing via our wait and load service to avoid blocking Selby’s tight access lanes for heavy agricultural traffic.
- Rural Fly-Tipping along country roads: We rapidly cleared dumped waste near the A19, providing full documentation to local landowners to ensure complete compliance.
- Garden Waste near Selby Abbey: We removed piles of heavy bags of soil as well as turf from a property with a medieval layout, where placing a traditional skip was physically impossible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you take bagged soil, rubble and bricks?
A: Yes, we take it all. We charge by volume and weight, meaning we can easily handle heavy inert waste that many others in Selby refuse.
Q: Do you dismantle sheds or garden structures?
A: Yes, our team also provides full dismantling and removal as part of the service, taking away rotten wood and felt safely.
Q: Will you clean up the mess afterwards?
A: Yes, we sweep up the area completely, leaving your driveway, farm track or patio spotless before we depart.
Q: Do I need a skip permit for Selby?
A: Only if you use a traditional skip on a public road. North Yorkshire Council requires permits for skips, which can be slow and also costly. However, our wait and load service requires no permit at all.
Q: Will North Yorkshire Council take my DIY or garden waste?
A: Most councils are very strict on bulky collections and often refuse heavy bags of soil, rubble and dismantled sheds. However, we take all these materials in a single visit to save you the hassle.
Q: Can you collect from properties with difficult access in Selby?
A: Yes, we frequently navigate the tight rural lanes leading to local farms and the narrow medieval streets in the town centre. Our vans are far more mobile than heavy skip lorries.
