Brilliant doesn’t even begin to cover it. Cam and James didn’t just move everything swiftly and efficiently, they did it with a level of care and professionalism that’s genuinely rare these days. Every step felt seamless, like watching a well-rehearsed dance where nothing missed a beat. But what truly stood out? They didn’t stop at just the moving. Once everything was in place, they took the time to clean up thoroughly, leaving the space spotless, as if they were never there, yet everything was exactly where it needed to be. Kind, capable, and incredibly hardworking, they turned what could’ve been a stressful day into something surprisingly enjoyable. Can’t thank them enough!

Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
Single Item
To begin with, prices start from £80+ VAT. This option is ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a king-size mattress or a heavy divan bed.
Quarter Van Load
This is perfect for removing a couple of mattresses along with dismantled bed frames from a guest room or spare bedroom.
Half Van Load
This option offers a capacity comparable to a standard builders’ skip. It is ideal for a large master bedroom clear-out or removing multiple beds during a property upgrade.
Full Van Load
This is our largest option and is suitable for full residential house clearances or large volumes of bedroom furniture and bulky waste.
– You only pay for the volume you use, unlike a skip where you pay for fresh air.

Typical Jobs in Selby
– Mattress Removal in Selby Centre: To begin with, we cleared a heavy king-size mattress and wooden bed frame from a property in Selby using our fast wait-and-load service. We avoided blocking the narrow medieval streets while completing the collection quickly and safely.
– Bedroom Clearance in the Rural Villages: We removed multiple old mattresses from a local farmhouse near Selby. Our highly mobile vans successfully navigated tight rural lanes where larger skip wagons simply could not gain access.
– Divan Bed Disposal near the A19: We collected an awkward memory foam mattress from an upstairs bedroom close to the A19. We carefully planned our route to avoid old Toll Bridge bottlenecks, helping keep the customer’s day running smoothly and on schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
Absolutely not. To begin with, our 2-man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, lofts or apartments in Selby, handling all the heavy lifting safely for you.
Do you take large or awkward items like memory foam mattresses?
Yes. We have the vehicles and equipment to handle large or awkward items safely. We can also dismantle bulky bed frames where required to remove everything without damaging your property.
Is your disposal legal?
Yes. We are fully licensed (CBDU409710) and ensure proper Duty of Care with every collection. You also receive a full Waste Transfer Note so you know exactly where your items are being taken.
Does North Yorkshire Council collect from inside my house?
No. In contrast, the council operates a strict kerbside-only policy. This can be extremely difficult for residents living in Selby’s historic centre or along rural lanes where leaving bulky items outside is impractical.
I live on a narrow street in Selby, can you still help?
Yes. We understand that navigating medieval street layouts and tight rural access routes around Selby can be challenging. However, our clearance vans are far more mobile than large skip lorries, allowing us to access difficult locations with ease.
