Why Choose Us for Emergency Bin Collection in Selby?
Emergency Same Day Response: Bins left baking in the sun or attracting pests need immediate action. We also offer same day AM or PM slots with a quick call ahead to keep you informed.
Skip Hire Alternative: We are also cheaper than a skip, require no permit fees and our uniformed teams do all the heavy lifting for you.
We Sweep Up: We do not just grab the bags and leave. Our crews also sweep the area completely clean, leaving your driveway or bin storage area spotless and free of unpleasant odours.
Fly-tipping Prevention: Overflowing bins often lead to illegal dumping on rural farm lanes. However, our rapid service guarantees your waste is sent to authorised recycling centres, protecting your Duty of Care.

What We Take
- General Waste: Excess black bin bags, household junk, cardboard boxes and also uncollected domestic refuse.
- Garden Waste: Bags of soil, turf, branches as well as old fencing cleared to prevent pests nesting near your property.
- Bulky Waste Collection: Heavy furniture, sofas, old appliances and also larger items that the council refuses to take in standard wheelie bins.
- Fly-Tipping Clearance: Unidentified bags or hazardous piles dumped on private rural lanes and farm tracks.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- Single Item: Prices start from £80+VAT, equivalent to 10 to 15 bags. This is ideal for a standalone pile of black bin bags.
- Quarter Van Load: Roughly 20 to 30 bin bags. This is perfect for clearing a heavily overflowing commercial bin area.
- Half Van Load: Roughly 50 to 60 bin bags. In short this is comparable to a standard builders skip without the hassle of a permit.
- Full Van Load: 100+ bin bags or 800kg payload. Suitable for large farm clearances or major rural fly-tipping incidents.
Get a Price: Send a photo of your pile to 07802 860 731 and you only pay for the volume you use.
Typical Jobs in Selby

- Fly-Tipping Recovery in Thorpe Willoughby: Our two man team removed a large pile of hazardous waste dumped along a country road, issuing a full Waste Transfer Note for compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you take bagged soil, rubble and bricks alongside normal bin bags?
A: Yes. We charge by weight as well as volume, meaning we can handle heavy inert waste like bags of soil and rubble that standard bin collections refuse.
Q: Do you dismantle sheds or garden structures?
A: Yes. Full dismantling as well as removal is part of our service and we can take this alongside your excess household waste.
Q: Will you clean up the mess afterwards?
A: Yes. We also sweep up the entire area after removing your rubbish, leaving your driveway or patio spotless and safe.
Q: Do I need a skip permit for Selby?
A: Only if you use a skip. This is because North Yorkshire Council requires permits for skips placed on the road, which is slow and costly. However, our Wait & Load service requires no permit.
Q: Will North Yorkshire Council take my extra black bags?
A: Limited. Most local authorities run strict bin schedules and will also refuse to lift excess bags left next to the wheelie bins.
Q: Can you collect from properties with difficult access in Selby?
A: Yes. This is because, even on the tight rural lanes leading to local farms or the narrow medieval streets in the town centre, our vans easily access areas that large skip lorries cannot reach.
