- Standard tall fridges and upright freezers
- Under-counter units and wine coolers
- Chest freezers from cellars or garages
- Commercial kitchen refrigeration units
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- Single Item: Furthermore, prices start from £80 + VAT. This is ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a large American-style fridge or a heavy chest freezer, offering a simple and cost-effective removal option.
- Quarter Van Load: In addition, this covers roughly 2–3 cubic yards. It is perfect for clearing an under-counter fridge along with a small pile of leftover kitchen tiles or light household waste.
- Half Van Load: Moreover, this option is approximately 6 cubic yards. It is ideal for a full kitchen strip-out, including multiple white goods, cabinets, and general refurbishment waste.
- Full Van Load: Finally, this provides 12–14 cubic yards of capacity. It is best suited for commercial clear-outs such as restaurant refrigeration units and larger-scale appliance disposals.
You only pay for the space you fill. Get a Firm Price: Send a photo of your pile to 07802 860 731.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor? A: Absolutely not. Our experienced 2-man team collects from upstairs apartments or basements, doing all the heavy lifting safely so you do not have to lift a finger.
Q: Do you take large or awkward items like American Fridges? A: Yes. We have the specific vehicles and tools required to handle the largest, most awkward American-style fridge freezers and chest freezers.
Q: Does Halton Council collect from inside my house? A: No. Halton Council operates a strict kerbside-only policy and charges for collection. This is incredibly difficult for residents in Runcorn’s terraced properties who cannot move heavy white goods outside. Our local crews know the routes perfectly, ensuring easy access to your home.
Q: Can I take my own fridge to Picow Farm tip? A: While the Picow Farm Household Waste Recycling Centre accepts domestic waste, access requires strict proof of residency. If you borrow a van to transport a heavy fridge, you will likely face complex permit restrictions, making our service a much faster alternative.
