Why Choose Us for Furniture Removal in Radcliffe?
We Collect From Inside: Unlike the local council’s curb side only rules, our own uniformed teams come straight inside. We also do all the heavy lifting for you.
Protection & Care: We take care when moving bulky items through tight terrace hallways. We use protection where needed to look after your flooring, walls, and doorways.
Speed: Same day options are available if you call early. This is therefore perfect for getting your space ready when your new sofa or bed is arriving today.
All Styles Taken: We handle large, awkward items like corner sofas, heavy wardrobes, and solid wood dining sets with ease and even dismantle if it’s needed.

What We Take (Furniture Removal)
Sofas & Seating: Sectionals, recliners, Chesterfields, and sofa beds.
Bedroom Furniture: Memory foam mattresses, king-size beds, bulky wardrobes, and headboards.
Living & Dining: Heavy dining tables, display cabinets, armchairs, and sideboards.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- Single Item: Prices start from £80+vat. Therefore ideal for a standalone bulky item like a heavy sofa or wardrobe. Cheaper and faster than waiting on the council bulky collection.
- Quarter Van Load: Roughly 20-30 bin bags or 2-3 cubic yards. Also perfect for clearing out a box room or a small collection of chairs and bedside tables.
- Half Van Load: Roughly 6 cubic yards. So comparable capacity to a standard 6-yard builders’ skip. Ideal for a large master bedroom clear-out with no permit fees.
- Full Van Load: 12-14 cubic yards with an 800kg payload. A large capacity equivalent to roughly two standard 8-yard skips. Furthermore suitable for full house furniture clearances.
Get a Firm Price: Send a photo of your pile to 07802 860 731.
Typical Jobs in Radcliffe
Rental Turnover in Radcliffe Centre: We cleared heavy bedroom furniture directly from a terraced property via Wait & Load to also avoid blocking the narrow street with a skip.
Riverside Clearance near the Irwell: Here we used our mobile vans for a rapid furniture collection, easily navigating the bridge bottlenecks where larger skip lorries struggle.
Fly-Tipping Recovery in Back Alleys: We swiftly removed dumped sofas from a narrow rear alleyway, solving a common local issue caused by the lack of a recycling centre in town.
How It Works
- Get a Quote: Give us a call, fill in our contact form, or WhatsApp a photo of the item to 07802 860 731.
- We Arrive: Our two man team arrives in a specific window. We give you a quick call ahead so you are not left waiting.
- We Remove: We carefully carry it out, managing any obstructions and keeping shared areas safe.
- Recycling: You receive a digital Waste Transfer Note the same day, and we recycle most of your old furniture.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor? A: No, you do not. Our professional 2-man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, basements, or apartments, doing all the lifting safely.
Q: Do you take large or awkward items like corner sofas? A: Yes, we have the vehicles and tools to handle large items. We plan lift and stair access in advance so we can move items safely.
Q: Does Bury Council collect from inside my house? A: No, the council is strict on curbside only collection. This is therefore physically difficult for residents living in Radcliffe’s traditional terraced properties with no front gardens.
Q: Can I take my own furniture to the local tip? A: There is no tip in Radcliffe itself, meaning you must drive to Every Street in Bury. That site is cramped, and you will face strict rules if you try to arrive in a borrowed van.
