The Rubbish Removers just helped me to clear out our Sheffield office at very short notice. Tom, Cameron & Jimbo were all great, and dismantled a mixture of office furniture / scrap metal / general waste very quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend The Rubbish Removers!

What We Take

- Heavy chest freezers
- Under-counter fridges as well as freezers
- Tall freestanding fridge units
- Commercial display fridges and also wine coolers
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- Single Item: To begin with, prices start from £80 + VAT. This option is ideal for a bulky item such as an American fridge freezer or a large chest freezer and is often quicker and cheaper than waiting for a council collection.
- Quarter Van Load: In addition, this covers roughly 20–30 bin bags, making it perfect if you are disposing of a fridge along with a small amount of kitchen waste.
- Half Van Load: Furthermore, this offers around 6 cubic yards of space, which is ideal for a full kitchen strip-out, including white goods and cabinets, with no permit fees required.
- Full Van Load: Our largest option provides 12–14 cubic yards, making it suitable for commercial clear-outs or removing multiple large appliances.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
No, you do not need to lift a thing. Our two-man team collects from upstairs flats, basements and tight kitchens, handling all the heavy lifting safely for you.
Do you take large or awkward items like American fridges?
Yes, we take them all. We use the right vehicles and manual handling equipment to manage even the largest and heaviest appliances securely.
Is your disposal legal?
Yes, absolutely. As licensed waste carriers (CBDU409710), we ensure your appliance is processed through proper WEEE recycling at an authorised facility.
I live on a narrow street in Pontefract, can you still help?
Yes. We are experienced with tight access in old mining villages and terraced rows. Our mobile vans allow us to load quickly without blocking the street like a skip.
Can I take my own fridge to the Welbeck tip?
You can. However, it often involves heavy lifting and a suitable vehicle. Permits may be required for van use, making our direct collection service a much easier and more convenient option.
