What We Take
- Memory foam, pocket sprung as well as orthopaedic mattresses
- King size, double and single mattresses
- Bed frames, divan bases and also any sized headboards
- General bedroom furniture including wardrobes and also any chests of drawers
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
Prices start from £80+Vat. You only pay for the space you fill, unlike a skip where you pay for air.
- Single Item Collection: If you only need one bulky item removed, such as a mattress or bed frame, this is the most cost-effective option. You can avoid the inconvenience of arranging a council bulky waste collection.
- Quarter Van Load: Alternatively, a quarter van load is ideal for clearing a box room, removing a bed or disposing of a couple of bedside tables in a single visit.
- Half Van Load: For larger bedroom clearances, a half van load provides plenty of space for a king-size bed, mattresses, wardrobes and other bulky furniture.
- Full Van Load: A full van load is perfect for complete house clearances or multi-room student HMO clear-outs. It is a popular choice during the busy summer moving season.

Typical Jobs in Ormskirk
Student Property Clearance: For example, we removed multiple mattresses as well as the broken bed frames from a student property, helping to keep busy residential streets clear and tidy.
Victorian Property Bedroom Clearance: In another case, we carefully manoeuvred a heavy king-size mattress down a narrow staircase while protecting walls and flooring throughout the removal process.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need to move the mattress downstairs before collection?
No. Our 2-man team collects directly from upstairs bedrooms, basements and apartments. You do not need to do any heavy lifting yourself.
- Can you remove large mattresses and bulky bed frames?
Yes. Whether you have a super king-size mattress or a heavy wooden bed frame, we have the equipment and experience to remove it safely. We can dismantle bed frames if required.
- Is your mattress disposal service fully licensed?
Absolutely. We are a fully licensed waste carrier (CBDU409710) and ensure all waste is handled legally and responsibly. We provide a Duty of Care Waste Transfer Note for every collection.
- Does the local council collect mattresses from inside my property?
No. Most council bulky waste collections are kerbside only. Many residents choose our service as we collect directly from inside the property and do all the lifting for you.
- Can you collect from busy roads and town centre locations?
Yes. Our experienced local teams regularly work in busy areas and carefully plan access to ensure collections are completed as efficiently as possible.
- Can I take my mattress to the local recycling centre myself?
You can. However, transporting a bulky mattress can be difficult and time-consuming, particularly if you do not have a suitable vehicle. Instead, our collection service provides a convenient, hassle-free alternative that saves both time and effort.
