What We Take
- Household Furniture: Sofas, recliners, heavy wardrobes, dining tables as well as bed frames
- White Goods & Appliances: Washing machines, American style fridges (100% de-gassed) and also any chest freezers
- General Junk: Mattresses, black bag waste, old carpets as well as mixed domestic clutter
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
Single Item
Prices start from £80 + VAT. For example, this is ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a heavy fridge, sofa or wardrobe. It is significantly cheaper and faster than waiting for a council bulky collection.
Quarter Van Load
Roughly 20 to 30 bin bags or 2 to 3 cubic yards. This option is perfect for clearing a box room or an under-stairs cupboard.
Half Van Load
Roughly 6 cubic yards or 50 to 60 bin bags. This provides capacity similar to a standard 6-yard skip, without the need for permit fees or risk of driveway damage.
Full Van Load
12 to 14 cubic yards, holding 100+ bin bags or an 800kg payload. Finally, this is equivalent to around two standard 8-yard skips and is ideal for full house clearances.
Typical Jobs in Nantwich
Furniture disposal in Stapeley:
We cleared heavy bedroom furniture using our fast wait and load service. We protected the owner’s high-value block-paved driveway while completing the job efficiently.
Junk clearance near St Mary’s Church:
We removed old appliances using our nimble vans. This allowed us to safely access tight areas where narrow timber-framed overhangs make skip access impossible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
– No, you do not need to lift a finger. Our professional two-man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, cellars or top-floor apartments, safely handling all the heavy lifting for you.
Do you take large or awkward items like American fridges and corner sofas?
– Yes, absolutely. Our local crews are fully equipped and trained to carefully dismantle and remove large, heavy or awkward items with complete care.
Is your disposal legal?
– Yes. We are a fully licensed Upper Tier Waste Carrier (Licence CBDU409710). Every collection includes a comprehensive Waste Transfer Note for your peace of mind.
Does Cheshire East Council collect from inside my house?
– No. The council operates a strict kerbside-only service. Disposing of bulky items can be difficult in multi-storey Georgian townhouses or Nantwich apartments.
I live on a narrow street in Nantwich, can you still help?
– Yes we can. We regularly work in tight historic streets. Our agile vans can easily navigate narrow medieval roads where larger vehicles struggle.
Can I take my own sofa to the tip?
– You can, although Nantwich does not have its own recycling centre. You would need to travel to Crewe, where traffic on the A500 and van restrictions can make the trip inconvenient.
Save your back and your walls!
