Why Choose Us for Mattress Removal in Lytham St Annes?
– We Collect From Inside: Unlike Fylde Council’s strict curbside-only policy, we are happy to come inside and do all the lifting for you. We can safely carry items from top-floor bedrooms or navigate the corridors of modern coastal apartments with ease.
– Protection & Care: Moving heavy items through shared communal spaces can be challenging. We carefully protect floors, walls, doorways and lifts throughout the removal process to help prevent any damage.
– Emergency Same-Day Options: In addition, if you contact us early, we will always try to offer a same-day collection. This means that if your new mattress is arriving later today, we can quickly clear the space and remove the old one beforehand.
– Complete Bed Removal: Finally, we do not just remove mattresses. We can also take bed frames, heavy headboards and bulky divan bases as part of our comprehensive bed removal service.

Typical Jobs in Lytham St Annes
Retirement Flat Clear-Out In St Annes
Recently, we removed a heavy orthopaedic mattress and divan base from a second-floor apartment using the lift. The clearance was completed efficiently while keeping all shared areas clean and safe throughout the process.
Seaside Villa Upgrade In Lytham
We removed three king-size memory foam mattresses and several old bed frames using our Wait & Load service. The customer avoided the need for a heavy skip, helping to protect their high-value driveway from potential damage.
Probate Clearance Near Fairhaven Lake
Our team carefully removed multiple beds and wardrobes from upstairs rooms within the property. We provided a respectful and complete clearance service, with a Duty of Care Waste Transfer Note issued on the very same day.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- SINGLE ITEM: Prices start from £80 + VAT. This option is ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a heavy king-size mattress or large bed frame. It is often cheaper and faster than waiting for a council collection.
- QUARTER VAN LOAD: Roughly 20 to 30 bin bags or 2 to 3 cubic yards. This option is perfect for clearing a guest bedroom, allowing you to remove a mattress along with bedside tables.
- HALF VAN LOAD: Roughly 6 cubic yards. Comparable to a standard builders’ skip. It is ideal for a master bedroom clearance.
- FULL VAN LOAD: Roughly 12 to 14 cubic yards with an 800kg payload. So, this option is suitable for full flat clearances, probate properties or larger projects involving multiple beds and bulky furniture items.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I Need To Get The Item To The Ground Floor?
Absolutely not. Our two-man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, basements and luxury low-rise apartments. We handle all the heavy lifting safely so you do not have to lift a finger. - Do You Take Large Or Awkward Items Like Super King Mattresses?
Yes. We have the correct vehicles and tools to remove even the heaviest memory foam mattresses and dismantle awkward bed frames with ease. - Is Your Disposal Legal?
Yes. We are an Environment Agency registered carrier, licence CBDU409710. Every job includes a proper Waste Transfer Note, giving you a full legal record of responsible disposal.
- Does Fylde Council Collect From Inside My House?
No. Fylde Council operates a strict curbside-only collection service. This can be especially difficult for residents in Lytham St Annes living in upper-floor flats or properties with long driveways. - I Live Right On The Promenade In Lytham St Annes, Can You Still Help?
Yes. Coastal conditions and parking restrictions make skip hire difficult. However, our mobile teams can access the Promenade easily without permits or risk. - Can I use Saltcotes Road Tip Instead?
You can try. However, Saltcotes Road Recycling Centre is very strict on suspected trade waste and large items can sometimes be refused. Our fully insured service saves you the risk, time and hassle.
