Why Choose Us for Appliance Removal in Leyland?
We Collect From Inside: Unlike the Council’s strict kerbside-only policy, we come directly into your lounge, kitchen or utility room to do all the heavy lifting. This means you never have to drag a heavy appliance outside yourself.
Protection & Care: We safely navigate narrow terraced doorways and tight corners. Our teams use protective coverings where needed to safeguard your flooring, walls and doorways throughout the removal process.
Speed: Same-day service options are often available if you call early. This is particularly helpful if your new American fridge freezer or washing machine is arriving today and you need the old one removed straight away.
WEEE Recycling: Equally importantly, we ensure all electrical items are handled correctly. For example, your old appliances are taken to authorised treatment facilities, where hazardous components are processed responsibly.

Typical Jobs in Leyland
Appliance Removal in Buckshaw Village
We cleared a heavy American fridge freezer using our Wait & Load service. We avoided breaching modern estate covenants that restrict skips on driveways.
Washing Machine Removal near Leyland Town Centre
We carefully extracted a broken washing machine from a red-brick terrace. At the same time, we navigated the limited on-street parking to load it directly into our van.
Kitchen Strip-out in Farington
We removed multiple old appliances as well as some kitchen units from a property. In turn, the homeowner avoided battling the busy weekend queues at the local recycling centre.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
SINGLE ITEM: Prices start from £80 + VAT. Ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a fridge or washing machine. I’s a great alternative to skip hire, often proving cheaper and faster than a council collection.
QUARTER VAN LOAD: Roughly 20–30 bin bags or 2–3 cubic yards. For example, this option is perfect for removing multiple old kitchen appliances during a minor refit.
HALF VAN LOAD: Around 6 cubic yards, offering a capacity comparable to a standard 6-yard builder’s skip. It’s ideal for a full kitchen strip-out.
FULL VAN LOAD: 12–14 cubic yards with an 800kg payload, equivalent to roughly two standard 8-yard skips. Ideal for major house clearances with multiple bulky white goods.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
Absolutely not. Instead, our two-man team collects from upstairs, basements or apartments, handling all the heavy lifting safely for you.
Do you take large or awkward items like American fridges?
Yes, we certainly do. We have the right vehicles and equipment to safely remove large appliances while carefully planning for tight corners and narrow access.
Is your disposal legal?
Yes. As a fully licensed waste carrier (CBDU409710), we provide a Waste Transfer Note with every job and ensure legal recycling at authorised facilities.
Does the local council collect from inside my house?
No. Instead, most councils only offer kerbside collections, which can be difficult for residents in Leyland’s traditional terraced properties.
I live on a narrow street in Leyland, can you still help?
Yes. Because our vans are compact and easy to manoeuvre, we can load directly from your property without the need for a skip permit.
Can I take my own fridge to the local Farington tip?
You can, however, you’ll need to do all the heavy lifting yourself and may face van permit restrictions. For that reason, our collection service is often the quicker and also easier option.
