Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
Our transparent pricing is based purely on the volume your waste takes up in our van. You only pay for the space you fill, making us a fantastic skip hire alternative.
Single Item
Prices start from £80 + VAT. Ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a king-size mattress or large wardrobe. This option is cheaper and much faster than council collections.
Quarter Van Load
Roughly 20 to 30 bin bags. For example, this is perfect for clearing a box room, including a single bed, mattress and bedside tables.
Half Van Load
Comparable to a standard builders’ skip. It’s ideal for a large master bedroom clear-out, taking the mattress, frame and larger furniture with no permit fees.
Full Van Load
Equivalent to around two standard 8-yard skips. It’s perfect for a full house clearance or multiple bedroom refurbishments.

Typical Jobs in Knutsford
Mattress Collection in the Golden Triangle:
We cleared a heavy super king mattress from a gated property using our wait and load service, which protected the high-value driveway where a skip was not suitable.
Bedroom Clearance near King Street:
We removed a mattress as well as the bed frame from a narrow historic property. We avoided the tight access and restrictions that often make skip placement difficult in the town centre.
Probate Clearance near Mobberley Road:
We safely cleared multiple beds and mattresses and some appliances from an estate. This saved the family from long weekend queues at the local tip.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
No. Our professional two-man team collects directly from upstairs bedrooms, basements or apartments, so you don’t have to do any heavy lifting.
Do you take large or awkward items like super king mattresses?
Yes. We remove all sizes of mattresses and bulky bed frames. We plan access in advance to ensure everything is moved safely and smoothly.
Is your disposal legal?
Yes. We are an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU409710). We provide a Waste Transfer Note every time, so your Duty of Care is fully covered.
I live on a narrow street in Knutsford, can you still help?
Yes. We understand parking can be tight on streets like Princess Street. However, our mobile vans allow us to load quickly without blocking the road or needing permits.
Can I take my own mattress to the Mobberley Road tip?
You can. However, the site is often congested, especially at weekends. In addition, if you use a borrowed van, you may face strict trade waste checks. We save you both time and effort.
