Can't fault the service and professionalism of this company. I used them to remove a large fridge/freezer that was passed it's best. They arrived when they said they would, they were pleasant and friendly and very efficient! They took my payment by card and it was £40 cheaper than my local authority. I will definitely recommend to my friends, in fact one-off the neighbours has already asked me for their number!!

Fridge Removal in Knowsley – We Do The Heavy Lifting
Providing professional Fridge Removal in Knowsley, The Rubbish Removers Ltd is your local, family-run solution for disposing of heavy white goods without the headache. Navigating the large post-war estates of Huyton or the tight cul-de-sacs of Kirkby can make moving a bulky appliance yourself a logistical nightmare, especially with the strict ID checks at local recycling centres. As a fully licensed Upper Tier Waste Carrier (CBDU409710), we also ensure your appliance is handled legally and ethically, with 100% of fridges de-gassed and recycled at authorised treatment facilities. We are proud to be a Which? Trusted Trader as well as a member of the Trading Standards “Buy With Confidence” scheme, giving you total peace of mind that you are dealing with a reputable company. Typical Jobs in Knowsley
• American Fridge Removal in Huyton: We carefully removed a large double-door fridge from a property on a tight cul-de-sac. Because our van’s mobility allowed us to park close to the door, we avoided the access issues a skip wagon would have faced.
• Kitchen Clearance in Kirkby: A customer renovating a post-war estate property needed an integrated fridge and old cabinetry removed. We provided a “Wait & Load” service to clear the driveway immediately, keeping the neighbours happy.
• Commercial Disposal in Prescot: We collected three large display chillers from a shop refit near the town centre. We provided the business owner with an immediate Waste Transfer Note for their compliance records.

3. We Remove: We disconnect the unit (if plumbed in) and carefully manoeuvre it out of your property, protecting your flooring and paintwork.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the fridge to the ground floor or pavement?
A: No. Our service includes full labour. Our professional team will collect the item from your kitchen, utility room or even a basement, doing all the heavy lifting safely.
Q: Do you take large American-style fridges?
A: Yes. We have the vehicles as well as the manpower to handle large, heavy American-style units. Please let us know when booking so we can ensure the correct team is allocated.
Q: Is your disposal legal?
A: Absolutely. We are Environment Agency Registered (License CBDU409710). All refrigeration units are treated as hazardous waste due to the gases they contain; we ensure they are de-gassed and recycled at authorised facilities, providing you with a Waste Transfer Note.
Q: Does Knowsley Council collect from inside my house?
A: No. Knowsley Council’s bulky waste collection is strictly pavement only. This can be very difficult for residents, particularly in the large estates where driveways are long or if you live alone and cannot physically move a heavy appliance.
Q: I live in a cul-de-sacs in Kirkby, is access an issue?
A: Not for us. We use agile 3.5-tonne luton vans rather than heavy skip lorries. This allows us to navigate the tight turning circles of Knowsley’s many cul-de-sacs and park safely without blocking the road.
Q: Can I take my old fridge to the Huyton or Kirkby tip myself?
A: You can, but be aware that these sites have strict ID checks to prevent cross-border tipping from Liverpool. You will also need a vehicle large enough to transport the fridge upright (to prevent damage to the compressor) and the physical strength to unload it yourself.
Save your back and your walls. Call for instant removal.
