Very efficient service. Would highly recommend. They removed a large wardrobe and other smaller items of furniture. They even collected on a bank holiday.

Extremely satisfying experience. The shed and contents were removed within 3 days of booking the job and I only have high praise for Mike and Alan who were very efficient in completing the job in double quick time and they left a very clean area.. I would definitely recommend THE RUBBISH REMOVERS and would use them again if I needed to. They are very efficient and professional.

For Fridge Removal in Kirklees, we save you the trouble of moving awkward white goods yourself. Avoid the physical strain of hauling a heavy appliance up the steep, narrow mill town streets of Kirklees. Our family-run team is ready to step in and we happily collect from any room in your property so you do not have to struggle with the stairs. We are an Environment Agency Registered waste carrier with licence number CBDU409710, so you can trust us to handle your bulky waste collection safely and legally. Speed: We offer same-day options if you call early in the morning. This is the perfect arrangement if your new appliance is arriving today and you need the old one out of the way immediately.
Proper Handling of Electricals: All fridges and freezers are taken to authorised treatment facilities. We ensure that hazardous parts and gases are dealt with correctly and safely.
What We Take

Typical Jobs in Kirklees
- Appliance Removal in Huddersfield: We cleared a massive American style fridge freezer via a wait and load service, completely avoiding parking issues on a tight mill town street.
- Cellar Clearance in Dewsbury: We carefully removed two heavy chest freezers from a stone terrace basement, safely navigating the steep steps so the customer did not have to lift a finger.
- Kitchen Clear-out in Holmfirth: We collected a faulty under-counter fridge directly from the kitchen. We saved the homeowner from dragging it out onto an extremely hilly access path.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
A: No, you do not need to move the appliance at all. Our professional 2-man team collects from upstairs, basements or apartments, doing all the heavy lifting safely.
Q: Do you take large or awkward items like American Fridges?
A: Yes, we take all styles of appliances. We also have the correct vehicles, manual handling training and equipment to handle oversized fridges securely.
Q: Is your disposal legal?
A: Yes, your waste is handled strictly by the book. We also operate under Environment Agency licence CBDU409710 and provide full Waste Transfer Notes to ensure 100 percent legal recycling.
Q: Does Kirklees Council collect from inside my house?
A: No, the council operates a strict pavement only policy. Dragging a heavy fridge to the pavement is incredibly physically demanding, especially for residents living on the steep hillsides of Kirklees.
Q: I live on a narrow street in Kirklees, can you still help?
A: Yes, we certainly can. We also know that access along traditional terraced streets can be exceptionally tight. However, our vans are highly mobile and we expertly plan our loading to keep clear of local traffic.
Q: Can I take my own fridge to the local tip in Kirklees?
A: You can visit household waste recycling centres in Huddersfield or Dewsbury, but lifting a heavy fridge into your family car is risky for your back and your vehicle. You also face strict rules and potential rejections if you try to borrow a van without the correct permits.
Save your back and your walls. Call for instant removal.
