Great pair of blokes - on time, really polite and went beyond what expected Couldn’t ask for anything more and I would recommend them to anyone

Excellent service from Rubbish Removals. Arrived on time and considering they had a fair length down a long path to reach their truck, they removed quite a lot of kitchen appliances and a piece of furniture in next to no time. Would definitely recommend. Good price too, cheaper than local Council.

Why Choose Us for Appliance Removal in Kirklees?
Unlike curbside-only council services, our uniformed teams come directly into your kitchen or cellar to collect heavy items. Kirklees residents avoid the difficult and potentially dangerous task of moving appliances along steep hillsides and narrow mill town streets.
Navigating the tight doorways and awkward steps of traditional stone terraces requires experience and care. Our team uses the correct handling techniques and protective equipment to safeguard your floors, walls and door frames throughout the removal process.
We offer a same-day service when you call early, making it ideal if your new fridge or washing machine is due to arrive that day. Meanwhile, our vans can access many of the area’s narrow roads with ease, eliminating the need to find space for a skip. You can enjoy a faster, safer and more convenient appliance removal service.

Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
Single Item: From £80 + VAT. Ideal for a fridge, washing machine or freezer. It is often quicker and cheaper than council collection.
Quarter Van Load: Around 20–30 bin bags or 2–3 cubic yards. Perfect for a single appliance or small kitchen refit waste.
Half Van Load: Around 6 cubic yards, similar to a builders’ skip. It is ideal for a full kitchen strip-out without needing a skip.
Full Van Load: Around 12–14 cubic yards with an 800kg payload. So, it’s perfect for commercial clearances or large household jobs.
You only pay for the volume you use, unlike a skip where you pay for fresh air. Get a free quote by sending a photo of your items to 07802 860 731.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to move the item downstairs?
No. Our trained two-man team collects from upstairs rooms, basements and tight kitchens, handling all the heavy lifting for you.
Do you take large items such as American fridge freezers?
Yes. We have the vehicles and equipment needed to remove large appliances while protecting your floors, walls and doorways.
I live on a narrow street in Kirklees. Can you still help?
Yes, we can. Our experienced team regularly works in tight-access areas and narrow mill town streets across Kirklees.
Is your disposal legal?
Absolutely. As an Upper Tier Waste Carrier (CBDU409710), we ensure all items are disposed of legally through authorised treatment facilities.
Does Kirklees Council collect from inside my house?
No. Instead, council collections are typically curbside only, which can be difficult for residents living on steep hills or terraced streets.
Can I take my own fridge to the local tip?
Yes, you can. However, transporting heavy appliances yourself can be difficult, and local recycling centres often have restrictions. Many customers choose our hassle-free collection service instead.
