Excellent. They let us know what time they will be here, turned up on time. Carried a washing machine down steep stairs through a narrow gap. Then took 2 items away, up the same steps. Friendly efficient. Highly recommend

Appliance Removal in Keighley: We Do The Heavy Lifting
Booking our Appliance Removal in Keighley service guarantees a fast and hassle free way to clear unwanted white goods from your property. Moving a bulky washing machine or heavy fridge out of a Yorkshire stone terrace is a physical challenge you do not need to tackle alone. So do not struggle with steep stairs or narrow doorways because our uniformed team collects from any room in your home. We are a fully registered Upper Tier Waste Carrier with the Environment Agency (Licence CBDU409710). This therefore gives you total peace of mind that your old appliances are disposed of legally.
As a family run business with over 25 years of experience, The Rubbish Removers Ltd is proud to be a Which? Trusted Trader and a Trading Standards “Buy With Confidence” approved member. We also offer a fast and reliable same day response across West Yorkshire. You can also reach our local team directly on 0113 450 8477 to book your slot. Why Choose Us for Appliance Removal in Keighley?
We Collect From Inside: Unlike the strict curb side rules of the local council, we are happy to come inside and do the lifting. We will also remove your heavy appliances directly from the kitchen or utility room.
Protection & Care: We take absolute care when moving bulky items through your home. Floors, walls and lifts are looked after using proper protection to prevent any cosmetic damage to your property.
Speed: When your new fridge is arriving today, you need the old one gone immediately. We therefore offer same day options if you call early to keep your kitchen completely clear and ready for your delivery.
Proper Handling of Electricals: Safe WEEE Recycling is a priority for us. IT kit and fridges are taken to authorised treatment facilities so hazardous parts are therefore dealt with safely and correctly.

Single Item: Prices start from £80+vat. so ideal for a standalone bulky item like an American fridge or heavy washing machine. This is a brilliant Skip Hire Alternative for quick single-item disposal.
Quarter Van Load: Roughly 20 to 30 bin bags or 2 to 3 cubic yards. Therefore perfect for multiple kitchen appliances during a minor refit.
Half Van Load: Roughly 6 cubic yards. Comparable capacity to a standard builders skip. Also brilliant for a full kitchen strip-out involving multiple white goods and cabinets.
Full Van Load: 12 to 14 cubic yards with an 800kg payload. Also equivalent to two standard skips. Ideal for full house clearances with multiple heavy appliances and furniture.
Free Estimates: You only pay for the space you fill. We also agree on a fixed price on arrival before any loading begins. So get a firm price by sending a photo of your appliance to 07802 860 731.

We cleared a heavy broken washing machine direct from a steep Yorkshire stone terrace property. Our team also provided all the lifting to navigate tight back-to-back doors.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor? A: Not at all. Our own uniformed two man team is happy to collect from upstairs bedrooms or upper-floor flats. We plan the lift and stair access in advance and do all the heavy lifting safely.
Q: Is your disposal legal? A: Absolutely. We are fully insured and Environment Agency Registered with Licence CBDU409710. We provide a legal Waste Transfer Note every time to ensure your appliances undergo proper WEEE recycling.
Q: Does Bradford Council collect from inside my house? A: No. Bradford Council strictly operates a kerbside only bulky waste collection. We provide the perfect alternative for residents living in Keighley’s traditional stone terraces or back-to-backs with no front garden.
Q: I live on a narrow steep street in Keighley, can you still help? A: Yes. We know that the steep valley sides and tight cobbled back streets of the area make placing a skip dangerous. Our local crews use nimble vans for a rapid clearance to navigate all parking and access issues easily.
Q: Can I take my own fridge to the local tip? A: You can, but council tips like the one at Bowling Back Lane require resident permits and have strict rules. If you borrow a van to move a heavy fridge, you risk being turned away without the correct commercial vehicle permits.
