Why Choose Us for Mattress Removal in Fylde?
We Collect From Inside: Unlike strict local Fylde council pavement only collections, we come right into your bedroom, loft or apartment. We are also happy to come inside and do the heavy lifting for you.
Protection & Care: Navigating tight corners with a king-size mattress is difficult, but our own uniformed teams take exceptional care. Floors, walls and shared lifts are looked after using proper protection while we work.
Speed: Same-day options are often available if you call us early. This is perfect for when your brand new mattress is arriving today and you need the old one out of the way immediately.
All Styles Taken: We safely remove heavy memory foam mattresses as well as king-size units from homes and businesses in Fylde. We also include full bed frame dismantling and removal to make the process completely stress-free.

What We Take
- Memory foam and also pocket sprung mattresses.
- King size, double as well as single mattresses.
- Wooden and also metal bed frames.
- Headboards, divan bases as well as bedside tables.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- Single Item: Prices start from £80+VAT. Ideal for a standalone bulky item like a king-size mattress or a heavy sofa bed in Fylde.
- Quarter Van Load: Roughly 2 to 3 cubic yards. Perfect for clearing a full bed set, including the mattress, frame and headboard.
- Half Van Load: Roughly 6 cubic yards. In other words, this is comparable capacity to a 6-yard skip without the expensive permit fees, great for clearing a large master bedroom.
- Full Van Load: 12 to 14 cubic yards. A massive space suitable for full house clearances where multiple bedrooms need emptying.
Remember, you only pay for the volume you actually use, unlike a skip where you pay for fresh air.

Typical Jobs in Fylde
- Mattress Clearance in Coastal Apartments: We cleared multiple heavy memory foam mattresses from a multi-story guest house in Fylde. We used our wait and load vans to avoid strict promenade parking restrictions and took care of the shared stairwells, leaving them swept and ready to use.
- Bed Disposal in Terraced Streets: Our team removed a heavy wooden bed frame and also a double mattress from a narrow back-to-back property. We navigated the tight doorways safely, saving the homeowner from blocking the narrow street with a large skip.
- Top-Floor Flat Clearance: We cleared a super-king mattress from a top-floor flat. We carefully managed the lift and stair access in advance, ensuring the walls and floors were protected throughout the move.
How It Works
- Get a Quote: Give us a call or fill in our contact form. You can WhatsApp a photo of the item to 07802 860 731.
- We Arrive: Our 2-man team arrives in Fylde within a specific window, calling 30 minutes prior. We plan lift and stair access in advance for safety.
- We Remove: We carefully carry your mattress and bed frame out of the bedroom, ensuring no damage to your property. We then sweep through the room, leaving spaces clean and clear so they are ready for whatever you need to do next.
- Recycling: Most of what we collect is diverted from landfill. We issue a digital Waste Transfer Note the same day for your records.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
A: No, you do not. Our professional 2-man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, basements or apartments, doing all the heavy lifting safely for you.
Q: Do you take large or awkward items like super king mattresses?
A: Yes, we absolutely do. We have the correct vehicles and also the manual handling experience to handle heavy, oversized mattresses and large bed frames safely.
Q: Is your disposal legal?
A: Yes, completely. We are also an Environment Agency Licensed Carrier (CBDU409710) and provide a legal Waste Transfer Note every time we collect, ensuring a high Landfill Diversion Rate.
Q: Does the local council collect from inside my house?
A: No, local council collections are strictly pavement only. You have to drag the heavy mattress out yourself, which is physically difficult for residents living in Fylde’s terraced properties or coastal apartments.
Q: I live on a narrow street in Fylde, can you still help?
A: Yes, we can. We know that parking in local terraced streets can be tight, but our vans are far more mobile than large skip lorries. We plan loading near key points to ensure we stay on the right side of the neighbours.
Q: Can I take my own mattress to the local Recycling Centre (HWRC)?
A: You can, but you must be careful. Local Recycling Centres often have strict rules on vehicle types, and if you borrow a commercial van to move a heavy mattress, you may be turned away without a specific permit.
