Easy to use service from booking to collection of the mattresses. Quick responses when booking, great communication throughout. On the day, prompt collection by two very pleasant lads ( despite the sudden hailstorm!!) An excellent, efficient service at a very fair price. Thanks a lot.

Mattress Removal in Fleetwood
We Do The Heavy Lifting
Mattress Removal in Fleetwood is a specialist service delivered by our dedicated two-man teams across the coast. Because heavy memory foam mattresses can be difficult to move through narrow terraced staircases or busy guest houses, we step in to make the process simple and stress-free. Our Man and Van Clearance service collects directly from the bedroom, so you never need to struggle with the stairs. As a Which? Trusted Trader and Trading Standards Approved company, we provide a reliable same-day response for all bulky waste enquiries.
We are also an Environment Agency Registered waste carrier (Licence CBDU409710), ensuring all items are disposed of ethically with a high landfill diversion rate. Whether you’re updating a family home or clearing a local bed and breakfast, you can contact our trusted team on 0161 339 7938 or WhatsApp 07802 860 731 for an instant quote.
Why Choose Us for Mattress Removal in Fleetwood?
- We Collect From Inside: Unlike the council curbside policy, we come directly into your upstairs bedrooms to safely retrieve heavy items. That means you never have to struggle carrying bulky beds downstairs.
- Protection & Care: We take exceptional care when moving bulky beds, using protection where needed to safeguard flooring, walls and doorways.
- Speed: If you need a fast turnaround, we can often offer same-day service options when you call early. This is ideal for when your new bed is arriving today.
- All Styles Taken: Whether it’s heavy memory foam mattresses, king size beds or full bed frame dismantling, we handle the entire job without fuss.

Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
SINGLE ITEM: Prices start from £80 + VAT. Ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a king size mattress. For example, this is both cheaper and faster than a council bulky collection.
QUARTER VAN LOAD: Roughly 20–30 bin bags or 2–3 cubic yards. Perfect for removing a couple of mattresses along with dismantled bed frames after a bedroom upgrade.
HALF VAN LOAD: Around 6 cubic yards or 50–60 bin bags, providing a capacity comparable to a standard 6-yard builder’s skip. It’s ideal for a large master bedroom clear-out, with no permit fees required.
FULL VAN LOAD: 12–14 cubic yards or 100+ bin bags with an 800kg payload. For example, this is equivalent to roughly two standard 8-yard skips, suitable for full house clearances or large hotel refits.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
Absolutely not. Instead, our professional two-man teams collect your mattress directly from upstairs bedrooms or loft conversions, handling all the heavy lifting safely.
Do you take large or awkward items like super-king mattresses or solid wooden frames?
Yes. We have the vehicles and manual handling expertise to manage all large items and we can even assist with dismantling bed frames if needed.
Is your disposal legal?
Yes. As a fully licensed Environment Agency waste carrier (CBDU409710), we provide a Waste Transfer Note with every collection, ensuring fully compliant recycling at authorised transfer stations.
Does the local council collect from inside my house?
No. Instead, council collections are strictly curbside only, which can be very difficult for Fleetwood residents in terraced homes who cannot safely move heavy mattresses outside.
I live on a narrow street in Fleetwood, can you still help?
Yes. Because on-street parking is often tight in residential areas, our compact vans are more manoeuvrable than skip lorries, allowing quick loading without disruption.
Can I take my own mattress to the local tip?
You can, however, recycling centres often have strict van permit rules and transporting a king size mattress in a car is usually impractical. Our service is the easier option.
