Why Choose Us for Mattress Removal in Ellesmere Port?
We Collect From Inside:
Unlike the council’s curbside-only rules, we collect directly from upstairs bedrooms. You never need to drag a heavy mattress downstairs. You do not have to leave it outside in the rain.
Protection & Care:
Floors, walls, and doorways are protected with care. We use protection where needed to move awkward memory foam mattresses safely. We can manoeuvre bulky items through the tight hallways often found in 1970s semi-detached homes.
Speed:
Same-day options are available if you call early. You can clear space quickly when a new bed frame arrives. In other words, we help remove the old mattress without delay.
Full Bed Clearances Included:
We take all bed styles and sizes. For example, this includes heavy memory foam mattresses, super king sizes, divan bases, and full bed frame removals. We handle the heavy lifting for you.

What We Take (Mattress Removal)
- Memory foam mattresses
- King size and super king mattresses
- Bed frames and divan bases
- Headboards and bedside tables
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- Single Item: Prices start from £80+vat. Ideal for a standalone bulky item like a king-size mattress or a heavy divan base. This is cheaper and faster than a council bulky waste collection.
- Quarter Van Load: Roughly 2-3 cubic yards. Perfect for clearing out a box room, including a single bed, mattress, and old bedside cabinets.
- Half Van Load: Roughly 6 cubic yards. Ideal for a large master bedroom clear-out where multiple beds, wardrobes, and mattresses need removing.
- Full Van Load: 12-14 cubic yards. Suitable for full house clearances involving multiple bedrooms and heavy furniture.
You only pay for the volume you use, unlike skips where you pay for fresh air.

Typical Jobs in Ellesmere Port
Mattress Removal in Stanlow: We removed two old divan beds from a property near the refinery. We carefully coordinated with our driver to avoid local fire-safety access red zones. The collection was completed safely and efficiently.
Bulky Waste Collection in Whitby: We cleared a water-damaged memory foam mattress directly from an upstairs bedroom. The customer avoided lifting heavy items downstairs. They did not need to rent a van or face tanker traffic near the North Road Recycling Centre (HWRC).

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor? A: Absolutely not. Our 2-man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, lofts, or apartments, also doing all the heavy lifting safely while you relax.
Q: Do you take large/awkward items like super king mattresses or heavy wooden frames? A: Yes. We have the vehicles, tools, and expertise to dismantle and remove large, awkward bedroom furniture without damaging your walls or floors.
Q: Is your disposal legal? A: Yes. We are an Upper Tier Waste Carrier (Licence CBDU409710) and ensure 100% legal recycling at licensed transfer stations. You receive a proper Waste Transfer Note every time.
Q: Does Cheshire West and Chester Council collect from inside my house? A: No. The local council is strict on a curbside-only policy. This is incredibly difficult for residents living in Ellesmere Port’s post-war estates who physically cannot move a heavy mattress to the pavement.
Q: I live near Cheshire Oaks, can you still help despite the traffic? A: Yes. We know local roads and restrictions intimately. We plan our routes carefully to avoid the worst of the M53 J10 gridlock so we can arrive promptly.
Q: Can I take my own mattress to the North Road tip? A: You can, but access to the North Road tip is frequently blocked by heavy tankers and car transporters from the nearby industrial zone. Let us save you the time, heavy lifting, and potential van permit restrictions.
