Punctual, courteous and friendly. Took my old furniture away and then went above and beyond by carrying a chair from another room into my now empty room so I am comfortable until my new furniture arrives. Thank you.

Excellent service from Rubbish Removals. Arrived on time and considering they had a fair length down a long path to reach their truck, they removed quite a lot of kitchen appliances and a piece of furniture in next to no time. Would definitely recommend. Good price too, cheaper than local Council.

– Refrigeration: American style fridge freezers, standard tall fridges, chest freezers and also any under-counter units (all 100% de-gassed and safely recycled)
– Laundry Appliances: Washing machines, tumble dryers as well as washer-dryer combos
– Cooking Appliances: Free-standing gas or electric cookers, ovens, hobs and also microwaves

Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
SINGLE ITEM:
Prices start from £80 + VAT. For example, this is ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a fridge or washing machine. It is often cheaper and significantly faster than arranging a council collection.
QUARTER VAN LOAD:
Equivalent to 20–30 bin bags. This option is great for clearing a couple of old appliances along with a small amount of kitchen rip-out waste.
HALF VAN LOAD:
Roughly 6 cubic yards. It is ideal for a full kitchen strip-out, including multiple white goods and cabinets, with no permit fees required.
FULL VAN LOAD:
12–14 cubic yards with an 800kg payload. So, this is best suited for large multi-generational household clear-outs or extensive residential upgrades.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
Absolutely not. Our experienced two-man team collects from upstairs flats, steep basements and tight terraced properties, handling all the heavy lifting safely for you.
Do you take large or awkward items like American fridges?
Yes, we remove appliances of all sizes. We have the correct vehicles, equipment and manual handling training to safely move large or awkward items from your home.
Is your disposal legal?
Yes. We are a fully licensed Upper Tier Waste Carrier (Licence CBDU409710). Every job includes a Waste Transfer Note, ensuring all items are recycled legally at authorised facilities.
Does Kirklees Council collect from inside my house?
No. Kirklees Council only offers curbside collections. Residents in Dewsbury’s steep stone terraces often find it difficult and unsafe to move heavy appliances outside themselves.
I live on a narrow mill street in Dewsbury, can you still help?
Yes. We regularly work on tight valley streets. Our compact, mobile vans can access areas where larger skip lorries struggle, allowing quick and efficient collections.
