- Heavy recliner chairs as well as electric mobility chairs
- Chesterfields and traditional suites
- Sofa beds and heavy futons
- Matching armchairs and also footstools
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
Prices are based strictly on the volume and weight of the items we take. You only pay for the space you fill, unlike skip hire where you pay for fresh air.
- Single Item: Prices start from £80 + VAT. This is ideal for a standalone bulky item such as a heavy three-seater sofa or corner unit. It is often quicker and more cost-effective than waiting for council collection.
- Quarter Van Load: Approximately 2–3 cubic yards. This option is perfect for clearing a full living room suite, including a sofa, armchairs and a coffee table.
- Half Van Load: Approximately 6 cubic yards. This is ideal for larger downsizing jobs, where multiple rooms of furniture need to be cleared at once.
- Full Van Load: Approximately 12–14 cubic yards. This option is best suited for full property clearances or removing an entire household of bulky furniture.

Typical Jobs in Cleveleys
Downsizing Clearance Near Jubilee Park: Recently, we carried out a careful clearance of a heavy corner sofa and matching armchairs from a 1930s bungalow. The retired customer avoided the stress of moving heavy items to the kerb.
Apartment Collection On The Promenade: We removed two heavy sofa beds from a seaside apartment block using the lift. We took extra care to protect shared corridors and communal areas throughout the process.
Probate Furniture Removal Inland: Our team completed a sensitive, full-service clearance of traditional heavy furniture. This meant the family did not need to make multiple trips to the strict Jameson Road tip in Fleetwood.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I Need To Get The Item To The Ground Floor?
No. Our professional two-man team collects from upstairs rooms, basements and seaside apartments. We handle all the heavy lifting safely, so you don’t risk injury.
- Do You Take Large Or Awkward Items Like Corner Sofas?
Yes. We have the right vehicles and tools to dismantle and remove large, awkward items safely and efficiently.
- Is Your Disposal Legal?
Yes. We are an Upper Tier Waste Carrier (Licence CBDU409710). All items are processed through authorised facilities, and we provide a full Duty of Care Waste Transfer Note. We never fly-tip.
- Does Wyre Council Collect From Inside My House?
No. Wyre Council operates a strict kerbside-only Bulky Waste Collection service. This can be difficult for residents in Cleveleys’ retirement bungalows or apartments who cannot move heavy items outside themselves.
- I Live In An Apartment On The Seafront, Can You Still Help?
Yes. We understand that coastal flats often have shared access areas and lifts. Our crews plan access in advance and ensure communal spaces are kept clean and safe throughout the job.
- Can I Take My Own Sofa To The Local Tip?
You can try Jameson Road tip in Fleetwood, although it is strictly residents-only. Borrowing a van may still lead to restrictions due to permit checks. We help you avoid the journey and the hassle entirely.
