I have used Rubbish Removers 3 times now and they have always been professional and efficient. Darren was involved in the last job. We will use them again whenever we need rubbish removed. They lifted the old bedroom carpet without any mess and took it away.

Why Choose Us for Bulky Waste Collection in Chester?
We Collect From Inside:
Unlike council services that insist on curb side pickup, we are happy to come inside and do the lifting. We also take items directly from your lounge, kitchen, or upstairs bedroom.
Protection & Care:
We take care when moving bulky items and use protection to look after your flooring, walls, and doorways. This is also essential when navigating tight Tudor doorways or heritage properties.
Speed:
We offer a same-day service if you call early, which is therefore perfect when your new furniture is arriving today.
Skip Hire Alternative:
Skips are virtually impossible inside the city walls and discouraged in tourist zones. So we offer a fantastic skip hire alternative with zero permit fees.

What We Take (Bulky Waste Collection)
Household Items: Sofas, dining tables, old furniture, black bag waste.
Beds: Mattresses, memory foam, king-size frames, headboards.
Appliances: White goods, fridges, freezers, washing machines.
Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- Single Item: Prices start from £80+vat. So ideal for a standalone bulky item like a fridge, sofa, or wardrobe.
- Quarter Van Load: Roughly 20 to 30 bin bags or 2 to 3 cubic yards. Therefore great for clearing out a box room.
- Half Van Load: Roughly 6 cubic yards. Also comparable capacity to a standard builders skip but with absolutely no permit fees.
- Full Van Load: 12 to 14 cubic yards. Furthermore suitable for full house clearances or large collections.
Get a Firm Price: Send a photo of your pile to 07802 860 731. Remember that you only also pay for the space you fill, unlike a skip where you pay for fresh air.
Typical Jobs in Chester
Bulky Furniture Clearance in Hoole: We removed heavy sofas from a suburban villa using a Wait & Load method to save the customer waiting weeks for a council slot.
Appliance Disposal inside the City Walls: Our team cleared a broken American fridge from a heritage property, navigating narrow Roman streets without needing an impossible skip permit.
Shop Refit Clearance on The Rows: We removed old display cabinets from a pedestrian zone, keeping shared areas completely clean and safe for tourists.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor? A: No. Our 2-man team collects from upstairs, basements, or apartments. We do all the heavy lifting safely so you do not have to lift a finger.
2. Q: Do you take large or awkward items like American Fridges and Corner Sofas? A: Yes. We have the right vehicles and tools to handle large, bulky items with ease.
3. Q: Is your disposal legal? A: Yes. We are a fully licensed waste carrier (Licence CBDU409710). Furthermore we provide a Duty of Care Waste Transfer Note with every job and ensure 100% legal recycling at licensed transfer stations, maintaining an excellent landfill diversion rate.
4. Q: Does Cheshire West and Chester Council collect from inside my house? A: No. The council is strict on curb side only collections. This is especially difficult for residents living in ancient city centre properties or heritage homes where outdoor space is non-existent.
5. Q: I live on a narrow street in Chester, can you still help? A: Yes. We know that parking inside the walls and near The Rows can be incredibly tight. Our vans are far more mobile than skip lorries, and we use loading bays efficiently without causing disruptions.
6. Q: Can I take my own sofa to the Bumpers Lane tip? A: You can, but it is notoriously busy and strictly prohibits pedestrian access. So save your back and your walls by letting our professional team handle the journey for you.
