Typical Jobs in Cheshire East
Mattress Removal in Knutsford: We safely removed two heavy memory foam mattresses from an upstairs bedroom. Before starting, we assessed the access route. We then navigated the tight staircase with care. We protected the newly painted walls throughout the collection.
Bulky Waste Collection in Wilmslow: We cleared a super king mattress and bed frame from a gated mansion. Instead of using a skip, we provided our skip hire alternative service. No heavy container was placed on the expensive driveway.
How It Works
- Get a Quote: Getting started is simple. Just give us a call, complete our contact form, or WhatsApp a photo of the item to 07802 860 731. We will then provide a fast, no-obligation quote.
- We Arrive: Once booked, our two-man team arrives within a specific time window. We call ahead before arrival. You are never left waiting around.
- We Remove: We carefully carry your mattress and bed frame downstairs. We take extra care when moving bulky items through the property. This helps keep your pristine driveway and any shared access areas clear, safe, and protected.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor? A: No, our 2-man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, basements, or apartments, doing all the lifting safely.
Q: Do you take large/awkward items like American Fridges or corner sofas? A: Yes, we have the vehicles and tools to handle the largest mattresses, heavy bed bases, and bulky furniture.
Q: Is your disposal legal? A: Yes, we are a fully licensed upper tier waste carrier (CBDU409710) and we provide a digital Waste Transfer Note the same day to prove your duty of care is met.
Q: Does Cheshire East Council collect from inside my house? A: No, the council is strict on curbside-only collections. This is very difficult for residents in large detached homes or gated communities where dragging a mattress outside is hard work.
Q: I live in a gated community in Wilmslow, can you still help? A: Yes, we regularly navigate security gates and intercom systems. Our mobile vans are much more practical than skip lorries, protecting your driveway and keeping your property looking immaculate.
Q: Can I take my own mattress to the local tip in Knutsford? A: You can, but the Mobberley Road site can get very busy with long queues on weekends, and they are extremely vigilant about van access. Our fast service saves you the hassle of loading your own car.
