Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
Single Item
Prices start from £80 + VAT, making it ideal for removing a single bulky appliance such as a fridge or washing machine. Our service is often faster and more convenient than a council bulky waste collection.
Quarter Van Load
Holds around 20 to 30 bin bags or 2 to 3 cubic yards. It is perfect for clearing several kitchen appliances during a refit or upgrade.
Half Van Load
Offers roughly 6 cubic yards of space, which is similar to a standard builders’ skip. However, you avoid permit fees, blocked driveways and problems on Calderdale’s narrow streets.
Full Van Load
Provides 12 to 14 cubic yards with an 800kg payload. It is ideal for complete property clearances or flood-damaged basement strip-outs.
Get a Free Quote by sending a photo of your pile to 07802 860 731. Remember that you only pay for the volume you use, unlike a skip where you pay for fresh air.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to get the item to the ground floor?
No. Our experienced two-man team collects appliances from upstairs rooms, basements and apartments. You do not need to handle any heavy lifting yourself.
Do you take large or awkward items like American fridge freezers?
Yes. We have the correct vehicles and specialist equipment to safely remove large appliances and navigate tight corners or narrow stairways.
Is your appliance disposal legal?
Yes. We operate under Waste Carrier Licence CBDU409710 and provide a Waste Transfer Note with every collection. You can be confident your appliances are recycled legally at a licensed transfer station.
Does Calderdale Council collect appliances from inside my house?
No. The council only offers curbside collections. However, this can be extremely difficult for residents living in Calderdale’s steep stone terraces and valley cottages, which is why our indoor removal service is so popular.
I live on a narrow street in Hebden Bridge, can you still help?
Absolutely. Our local teams understand the parking challenges in central Hebden Bridge. We use flexible wait-and-load methods and highly mobile vans to avoid causing obstruction.
Can I take my own fridge to the Milner Royd tip?
You can. However, Milner Royd in Mearclough is located at the bottom of a steep hill, making access difficult with heavy appliances in a standard car. Hiring a van may involve strict permit restrictions and extra hassle.
