Having never used a house clearance service before I was unsure what to expect. The Rubbish Removers were great. The quotation process was fair and the price I paid was the price I was quoted. The team arrived on time, having confirmed their arrival time a couple of hours earlier. The house was cleared with the minimum of fuss. The house was left in good order with no mess to tidy-up (other than 50+ years of dust). I'd highly recommended The Rubbish Removers if you need a house cleared. 5*!

These guys were great. Only had to book a couple of days in advance, very reasonable quote, and got my furniture cleared and bin emptied. 2 very friendly lads helped me to move it out the house and was able to pay on card too! Would recommend :)

Why Choose Us for Emergency Bin Collection in Burnley?
- Skip Hire Alternative: We are often cheaper than hiring a skip. Plus, there are no costly permit fees to pay. Most importantly, we do all the loading for you, saving you time and effort.
- We Sweep Up: We do not just collect the bags and leave. Instead, our crews sweep the area before they go. Your back alley or yard is left broom clean.

Typical Load Sizes & Pricing Guide
- SINGLE ITEM: Prices start from £80+vat, equivalent to 10 to 15 bags. Ideal for clearing a massive backlog of black bin bags or a single bulky item.
- QUARTER VAN LOAD: Roughly 20-30 bin bags or 2-3 cubic yards. Perfect for a small yard tidy-up or clearing an overflowing bin collection point.
- HALF VAN LOAD: Roughly 6 cubic yards or 50-60 bin bags. Comparable to a standard builders’ skip, but with no permit fees or blocked roads.
- FULL VAN LOAD: 12-14 cubic yards or 100+ bin bags. Suitable for large-scale fly-tipping clearance or full property clean-ups.
You only pay for the space you fill, unlike a skip where you pay for fresh air. Get a firm price by sending a photo of your pile to 07802 860 731.
Typical Jobs in Burnley
Emergency Bin Collection near the Town Centre: When overflowing waste became a problem, we acted quickly. Instead of placing a skip on the terraced grid, we used our Wait & Load service. We cleared dozens of black bags without the need for permits or parking space.
Fly-Tipping Clearance in Burnley Back Streets: We removed illegally dumped rubbish from a narrow cobbled alleyway. Then, our team swept the area thoroughly. The space was left clean, safe, and free from waste.
Yard Clearance near Turf Moor: We collected renovation debris, plaster, and general waste from a two-up two-down terrace. Because the streets were too narrow for heavy wagons, we used our mobile vans. We completed

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you take soil, rubble, and bricks? A: Yes. We charge by weight and volume, easily handling heavy inert waste that many local services refuse.
Q: Do you dismantle sheds or garden structures? A: Yes. Full dismantling and removal is part of the service. We recycle the wood at licensed transfer stations.
Q: Do I need a skip permit for Burnley? A: Only if you use a skip. Burnley Council requires permits for skips placed on the road, which is costly and slow. Our Wait & Load service requires no permit at all.
Q: Will Burnley Council take my DIY and garden waste? A: Burnley Council charges for the collection of non-standard items and places strict limits on what they take. This often leaves back street collection points full of uncollected rubbish, but we come today and take everything.
Q: Can you collect from properties with difficult access in Burnley? A: Yes. We easily navigate the steep, cobbled back streets and dense terraced rows of Burnley where large skip lorries simply cannot fit.
