Typical Jobs in Birkenhead
Mattress removal near Birkenhead Docks:
We cleared heavy memory foam mattresses and old frames from tight red-brick terraces. This acts as a great skip hire alternative where placing a metal container on narrow streets is impossible.
Bedroom clearance in Hamilton Square:
We carried bulky divan beds down multiple flights of stairs in grand Georgian townhouses. We use wait and load methods to navigate strict local parking constraints effortlessly.
Property clearance in Port Sunlight:
We removed multiple old beds and mattresses from a heritage property. Our team operated carefully to adhere to local conservation rules that prevent skips from being visible on the road.
How It Works
- Get a quote: To begin with, give us a call, fill in our contact form, or WhatsApp a photo of the item to 07802 860 731.
- We arrive: Next, our two-man team arrives within a specific time window. We provide a quick call ahead so you are not left waiting around.
- We remove: Then, we carefully carry your mattress and bed frames out from any room. Shared corridors and communal spaces are kept clean and safe while we work.
- Recycling: Finally, every job comes with an instant digital Waste Transfer Note for your records. We divert most of what we collect from landfill.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to get the item to the ground floor? A: No. Our professional 2-man team collects from upstairs bedrooms, basements, or apartments, doing all the heavy lifting safely.
Q: Do you take large or awkward items like super king mattresses? A: Yes. We have the vehicles and experienced crews to handle extra-large mattresses and dismantle awkward bed frames on-site.
Q: Is your disposal legal? A: Yes. We are fully licensed (CBDU409710) and provide a Duty of Care waste note on completion. This proves your mattress was recycled at an authorised commercial transfer station.
Q: Does Wirral Council collect from inside my house? A: No. Wirral Council is strict on curbside-only collection. This is extremely difficult for residents living in the dense terraced streets near the docks or in upper-floor flats, which is why we come inside and do the work for you.
Q: I live on a narrow street with tight back entries in Birkenhead, can you still help? A: Yes. We know that Birkenhead’s narrow back entries and terraced streets can be tricky for parking and are notorious spots for fly-tipping. Our vans are highly mobile, allowing us to load your mattress quickly without causing neighbourhood friction.
Q: Can I take my own mattress to the Bidston tip? A: You can, but it is not always easy. The Bidston tip gets heavily congested, and Wirral Council requires a permit for any commercial-type vehicle, even if you are just a resident borrowing a van. We save you the hassle, the queue, and the heavy lifting.
