Not in the traditional sense. Two jobs involving exactly the same items can require completely different amounts of time, labour and disposal cost.
For example, removing a sofa from a ground floor living room with parking outside is a very different job to removing the same sofa from a third-floor flat with no lift and limited parking nearby.
Publishing a simple fixed rubbish removal price list would often create unrealistic expectations because it would only reflect the easiest version of a job.

A two-seater sofa or a double mattress and base starts from £90.
Washing machines, fridge freezers, televisions and other bulky household items are priced based on the item, access and disposal requirements.
Some items cost more to process than others, so we will always confirm the price before booking.
Quarter load: Small shed or garden clearance
A quarter load starts from £220.
This often includes the contents of a small shed, bagged garden waste, broken shelving, old tools, plant pots and other accumulated household items.
For example, a small shed that opens directly onto a driveway may be completed relatively quickly. The same amount of waste located at the bottom of a large garden with restricted access will usually require more labour time, which affects the quote.
Half load: Standard garage clearance
A half load starts from £400.
Many garage clearances fall into this category.
These jobs typically involve a mixture of old appliances, furniture, tools, bikes, shelving, storage boxes and also general household items that have accumulated over time.
They often involve mixed waste streams, heavier items and a significant amount of manual handling.
Full load: Larger house, garage or office clearance
We quote for larger clearances individually.
A full load on our 14 yard caged tipper vans, which hold approx. 800kg, typically starts from £800.
A full load can vary significantly depending on the type of waste, weight, access, labour required and whether the job involves sorting, dismantling or multiple collection points.

Photos help us see the things that change the cost of a collection.
A written description might say “garage clearance”, but that could mean a few light boxes and a broken chair, or it could mean heavy appliances, mixed materials, stacked shelving, old paint, timber, metal and awkward items that need sorting before loading.
Photos and short videos help us assess:

Do you charge by the bag?
No, we do not usually charge by the bag. Bag size, weight and contents can vary too much for that to be a reliable pricing method. We quote based on the overall job.
Do you charge by cubic yards?
We use volume as one pricing factor, but we do not expect customers to measure waste in cubic yards. Photos and videos are usually a better way for us to assess the job accurately.
Is VAT included in your prices?
The prices shown in this guide are excluding VAT. VAT is added to the final quoted price and will be clearly confirmed before booking.
Will the price change when the team arrives?
The price we quote is based on the information provided before the job is booked. If the waste, access or job details are different from the enquiry, we may need to update the quote. If anything changes before collection, let us know in advance so we can confirm the price before the team arrives.
Why do some rubbish removal companies advertise cheaper prices?
